Just took a glance and everything looks sweet. I just hope those proximity explosives can be "seen" by some of the sensor equipment we're getting. Otherwise I'm imagining a glorious time in Biomass and Communications.
Probably jumping the gun here but I wonder if we can get a sensor "grenade". Chuck one in a room and temporarily see any REs or crouching SGs. |

Smart Bombs are going to be murder in close quarters when Friendly Fire is finally turned on. My guess is a lot of people will use them at first, then when everyone starts doling out teamkills with them, we will see less of them. |

They're going to have to make the smartbomb module a *****-and-a-half to shoehorn into anything less than Advanced or Proto suit. Otherwise, just load up a bunch of militia suicide fits and harvest the tears.

I can see smart bombs validating IFF signals before exploding, but then that works both ways. If a friendly is too close it won't activate to kill the enemy.
I wouldn't think the dead man's switch would be so discriminating, and that will be fun when FF gets turned on. |

"Smart" Bombs in Eve are anything but, will kill your allies and your own drones, and are a sure trip to the Concord police firing squad if used in hisec (a neutral invariably flies in range just when you think it's clear).
Don't count on them being friendly in Dust. |
