Willpv3 Royal Uhlans Amarr Empire 10	Posted - 2012.08.24 17:59:00 - [1] - Quote On occasion, after the waiting area when I join a battle I select a spawn point but ALL the dropsuits are showing invalid (when they are not) even the starter suits. Cant enter battle so I have to leave the battle and rejoin a new one. It has happened to me 3 times over the last few days. I have no idea how to replacate the bug however.

Not sure if they are related or just 2 diff bugs but wanted to mention it incase they are indeed related. Thanks again for the hard work you all have put into this game.

The Robot Devil 45	Posted - 2012.08.24 19:03:00 - [4] - Quote An internal error kicked me twice in a row and then the third time I logged on I came into the final minutes of an ambush. The next match was an invalid fitting on all my dropsuits and I exited the ambush. I took two steps and pressed the circle button for instant battle and I couldn't move and buttons did not respond. The PS button still worked and I reset for good practice.

I can still pull up the PS and chat menu but local will not load. I have been messing with squad stuff both times. Somewhere between the circle press to 1st spawn I usually mess with squads.

It'll be fine before I try to play. Then after they show up as invalid in the match, I can't restock at all. Restarting the game didn't work and I couldn't even attempt a second match. Then when I try to move, the game freezes.

I notice it happens after I change something in one of my dropsuits. ie I go buy a new gun, equip it to a dropsuit, go to play a game and all my drops are invalid. I find this only happens if I go immediately from adding my new item, to queueing for a match. If I wait a while or go level some stuff up then it seems to work fine. It's almost as though the game needs time to think about the new additions you made before letting you use them. Odd, but thats what I have noticed.

Yep had this happen several times to me as well.

At which point all my fittings are invalid and I have to restart the game (not a speedy process). This and the skill book upgrade bug are my least favorite so far!

All I did before it was buy skill boosts for the assault rifles with my ISK and Skill Points, got it up to level 3. i never bought new weapons or equipment though.

Just an FYI on avoiding that particular situation. worst bug yet, imho.
Jayfighter Algintal Core Gallente Federation 1	Posted - 2012.08.31 15:51:00 - [22] - Quote I get on and i usually can play one game and then the second game it goes to the finding a match screen and just sits there for 15 minutes never sending me to a match then when i cancel and i do instant battle again it just freezes and dosent do anything so i reset and then i get into a match and all my dropsuits are invalid i have been having these issues for the last three days i get on for what seems like an hour and only get to play one game i get frustrated cause it seems like i'm just wasting my time trying to play a game that wont allow me to play i'm worried because i would like to play the event today but how many people wont beable to play because of these problems

As with most of the bigger bugs like this one, the best thing you can do is quit the game completely.

I just bought the merc pack and loaded my permanent items and then when I went into the first match it told me everything was invalid. This has happened to me twice now and had to fully restart game. Going to try a third time here. Hopefully it works because this sucks specially after I just bought the merc pack.

I might be wrong but I think it also says something about this in the "Known Bugs" section of the update window when the game starts. Lost connection is...troubling, if there is one thing CCP has down it is connecting a mess load of peeps.

I couldn't "restock", though, since none of the items should be restocked. I then went to my Assets page, and found that nothing showed up there, either -- which is probably what was feeding the issue with the restocking... This definitely sounds like a desync problem, but it might be useful to someone that the issue appears to be at the equipment/assets level... ...Max

As has been said before, I noticed it happening most frequently after having played a few games, then changing something in a fitting (even vehicle fittings) and then trying to Queue up. The weirdest thing is that if I leave that match, it will still say all of my dropsuits/vehicles are invalid, and I'm not able to resupply them. Even the militia ones tat require no Isk! On a scale of 1 to 10, i'd rate how serious this bug is an 8. you can't have things like this happening in the final product. Also, as Cryo Max has said, he couldn't see his Assets page. I can NEVER see my Assets page, even if I had just opened the game. it just goes into infinite loading at each category of asset. Hope this gets worked out!

It seams to happen a lot when you walk away for a while and then try to enter a match. Match loaded but no one showed up in the roles screen went right into battle and got the invalid fittings not in in inventory issue.

I am still having the same problem. If I try to join another game after the invalid dropsuit problem it will freeze my PS3. When the invalid dropsuit happens I have to restart the PS3 and join Dust all over again to reset the problem.

This happens to be fairly regularly (once every 1-2 hours of gameplay). The only fix for me is quitting out of the game completely and reloading. Quitting the match and going back to the Merc HQs always results in the game freezing shortly after.

charlesnette dalari Creative Killers 159	Posted - 2012.09.02 17:41:00 - [43] - Quote possible fix for this bug been working for me so far. before entering ANY match i open both dropsuit and vehicle fitting screen in merc quarters and again on war barge if i dont go immediately to battle map from quarters and slowly scroll through each one from top to bottom making sure not to go to next one down until the picture of the fit in the center of the fitting menu has fully loaded. now once you have loaded a particular dropsuit like say assault 2 it wont take any time to load the next time it is listed on your list as you scroll down just make sure you let each different suit or vehicle picture fully load. since doing this i have only had one invalid fit error but actually think i rushed it that time. credit should go actually to the player that gave me this tip a few days ago McChip
