there is no vehicle I've seen yet that won't die to 3 or so Swarm/Forge players working as a team. Communication is a bigger problem here then the existence of the HAVs in the game mode. |

Was in a game today where a clan (im guessing it was a clan) rolled out 4 fully fitted heavy Tanks in a TDM. Our clone reserves at the time were 21 and the enemys reserves were at 56. After 10 minutes of these tanks rampaging through the level we ended up winning the whole match, lol they really are overpowered in TDM's but funny to observe |

Just had a skirmish against a tank the board was red the whole game we barely got out the attacking spawn.
More than a few of us had '' NANOHIVES '' the tank won the game for them.

have to agree only 1 ambush map has a supply depot to change fits. All other maps dont have any supply depots. And about HAV's in ambush: well the easy way to kill is using a HAV (except on maps that have alot of cover). They are there so you have to deal with them. I myself upgraded from a soma to a madruga now with a large missile turret. Havent lost that HAv yet in a match but i was close to losing it cause i thought: "oh look n00bs lets pwn them!" the bad thing was i got into a ambush with people spamming AV weapons i had alot of luck to survive that. Best way to defeat HAV's is still teamwork. 3 guys and a LAV and you can hunt most HAV's down. |

It has nothing to do with liking or not liking tanks, it has to do with wanting to play a decent MMOFPS which I thought this was supposed to be. I and I am sure all those that no longer play did not come here expecting '' tanks in space ''
As for hate, there was more hate spewed on this thread which was about being able to loadout change, but as usual like many other threads noone bothered to read the OP PROPERLY, instead just rushed in on assumption.

belzeebub is right we need supply depots on every ambush map they give us something to fight over instead of blob wars. he is also right that tanks being op is sooooo last build......AV got a buff and HAV's got a big nerf....... and to blendeddave like I said earlier I'll agree to no tanks in ambush if you agree to no scouts it's a class people spec into. it's like going to an ambush map and it saying you can't use AR's. tanks are powerful but they are kittens TANKS!!!! on a final point you would not only be alienating all HAV spec'd clones as well as most AV spec'd clones as there would be little for them to kill with the flight mechanics the way they are it actually takes skill to fly one so there arn't very many...... |

Clearly written in one run on sentence and another separate one no not so clear to those us who are not you. Also I agreed with you that the no supply depots thing is dumb but since you seem to fail at reading comprehension, or perhaps you ignored that fact.

1. serious dude I'd much rather go up against a tank then a scout(you can actually friggin hit the tank)
2. you'll be cutting back on the players for ambush by a lot and ambush needs as many as it can get
3. railguns all the way bro soooo much better then missiles I was against someone in a tank with 2 gunner full missile build and I was dodging the missiles in a heavy suit while shooting swarms back at him.( I spec'd into tanks last build and rails were so much better. I have even gotten some 500+m snipes with the railgun in the new build the 3 times I bought a sica too dang expensive to use till you get all the mods skilled up) |

I think he meant in the equipment slot, sure logi's get lots of equip slots, but Assault and Scout get one as well....
I think the reason allowing tanks into TDM matches is fine, is because generally you can avoid their fire. If a tank is spawned, just avoid it till you die next and then rez with an AV fit.
My AV fit is a militia scout suit with Militia Swarm and Militia submachine Gune and AV grenades. Think i even put a militia Light Damage Mod into the fit.
Its a fast set up, that is harder to detect so Tanks tend to lose interest in me. So far there has only ben one tank i couldn't dent with the Militia Swarm, and i'd guess that that will happen more often as people skill up, but by then ill have finished my Assault build, and can go a bit heavier into AV.
Heck... last build my Scout swarm AV fit had remote explosives :) |
