I played BF3 beta, and ppl talking about broken core mechanics on DUST should had given it a try
I got the game anyway 2 months after release (with some doubts, after playing the beta) and it was like a whole diferent game, so ppl, get calm, relax, and if you don't like the game, GTFO, chances are, when the game goes gold, you're gonna like it, so stop bitchin around.

Been said thousands of times... You just stretched it into uselessness. We are obviously going to complain about problems in the game. I believe it's called feedback.

I'm entitled to ***** as you put it and bf3 beta was actually no better than the released game with just as many bugs and issuses still unsorted.

Also if people like me gtfo as you also say how are ccp supposed to be informed all is not well and things need changeing and looking into.

Saying yes and going on how great it is will not sort out problems a bit of objectivity will do more good than sucking up to them

For a game releasing sometime in 2012, a beta shouldn't have this many bugs and game breaking issues. I don't care if it's free or if it's $60, another year of development won't hurt.
It's also not feature complete, but since it's an MMO with the majority of core mechanics implemented in some form, it's somewhat excusable.

This late in development, the game should not have such frequent fatal errors such as a moderate chance of hard freezing or lockups during normal operation, let alone the disconnection errors. This alone is unacceptable in my opinion. It's more of a playable Alpha, and I seriously wish the game launched in mid/late 2013 than 2012. It's just not ready yet.

what engine is DUST 514 running on?

i feel something should be said and be seen by mindless and ignorant people that still persistently think that this is the 100% complete game of dust 514

as you guys may know this beta has been running for months now,,,as one of the many guys who started playing this game,,,a lot of us were having fun with it,,and a lot dissapointed in the first stages,,some of you may have started to play the beta just now or played it on its 2nd stage, but the people ranting and talking like this is the full representation of the game drive me nuts as a ps3 gamer,an fps norm, this game from the starting stages till now,,,has improved vastly on its previous stages,,,

and i may agree that there are still some problems and stuff that need fixing in the game but the main point is what a potential of this freetoplay game is

i have seen the era of shooters lately,,,,,,on the pc side,,,,,a lot are drastically improving and etc.
on the console side with the exception of first person story games(portal 2.mirrors edge,bioshock) a lot are just about beating cod or copying it(even halo 4 is getting some fundamentals of cod on it already)

i have seen a lot of bitching,whining saying this is like a ps1 game graphics suck,that it is too gray,too clunky,too glitchy,etc compared to their ideal shooters i have one question for you

they gave you Battlefield Premium and CQC maps and Arms Race?

a promise that HALO 4 will not be COD and will always be true to its roots,,
they just added some COD elements into it

and the BF3 beta was already on its finishing stage,,,while dust beta is on its closed alpha beta stages -_-

Building from the ground up with ex-DICE employees who used this same engine! It's been known for a while that they employed them.

"but it's a beta!" is what is cried during the betas of every failed game. this cycle has repeated itself over and over again.

now, if CCP was really on the ball for this, and had fixed most of the major bugs from the past few builds while introducing new ones, that would be fine, that's the nature of bugchasing.

considering none of the major bugs in the past 5 months have been fixed, i'm very concerned
