I think they should be able to turn as fast as DS3 players. Right now they turn very slowly. i feel bad for them if I get up close. |

The turn speed definitely feels slower than the DS3. At this point I am considering hot swapping between the two input devices depending on range. I already have the DS3 at the ready anyway since the KB/M combo seems to be lacking controls for a handful of things. |

If you go into your PS3 settings you can increase the pointer speed.
Only thing im having a problem with is hacking, my hacks wont complete by holding E. So i have to use the controller lol
Also would be nice to have the whepons and equipment on the numbers |

In combat I'm not too bothered by it. Turning around seems to be around the same speed as someone with the gamepad.
However, it needs work when navigating the interface. For example, can't select different spawn points. The whole interface interaction when using keyboard/mouse feels pasted ontop instead of another option. |

When logging into a game, we get a screen of instructions on how to use the PS3 controller. There needs to be something like this for the keyboard/mouse combo as well. At the very least there should be some sort of a hotkeys "translation" list such as "left ctrl = triangle." I am also having trouble with the slow turning speed on the mouse although I have yet to check out the sensitivity controls. Otherwise I think the keyboard/mouse combo is infinitely preferable to the controller option. Good work CCP; keep it up we're right here with ya. |

these controls seem good the turning speed i think is the same just dont move ur mouse faster than u can turn. However one big problem i have with it, is that u can't use armor or shield reps when in a tank! the selector wheel comes up but u can't select anything and clicking fires the main turret as usual.
the problem with selecting spawn points rlly bugs me 2 |

use the silly stick thing on the left of that useless plastic thing they bundled(charge it up first). and the key with a triangle symbol on it.
******* forigners. wtf were they thinking?

I finally got around to trying it, and so far I like it. Small aiming adjustments are quite a bit easier, but when someone gets up close you feel like an elephant trying to do ballet. I'll also probably keep the DS3 close at hand. Also right now I find the menus very difficult to navigate with the keyboard. They currently show the DS3 buttons you need to press to exit the screen etc - it should also show the keyboard equivalent.
If I had to pick one input method I'm not sure what I'd go with. Dust is the first console shooter I've played for more than a couple matches and I've gotten pretty used to the DS3. |

I'm grateful that this was implemented this far into testing with it being as stable as it is. I'm sure CCP will keep monitoring and tweaking the settings and functionality since they are officially supporting it's use now.
+1 CCP for helping us PC gamers feel a little more at home in DUST :) |

I think it needs some refinement, specifically in navigating the UI, Overview map and other menus along with adjusting the mouse speed. Switching weapons by tapping Caps Lock is still unresponsive similar to the DS3 as well.
Besides that, I like it. |

Asides from the clunky UI navigation and some quite annoying bugs like unable to choose a spawn point (I have a DS3 handy nearby for the moment), I'm enjoying the KBM so far.
Mouse speed wasn't as horrible as I expected, and so far for the first time ever, I'm able to enjoy the battle finally. Oh, and I can now actually snipe and kill someone. So yeah, things are going in the right direction. |

Keyboard and mouse is what this game needs.
Its either due to insufficient programming or purposeful restriction that the thing doesn't allow mouse speeds we're comfortable with on the PC. Either they intend to do it but it's not priority, or they undestand that giving full PC-level mouse FPS'ing will result in a lot of grumpy Gamepad players freaking out from getting constantly pasted.
I've already noticed that sniping and counter-sniping is MUCH more dangerous now. |

I'm not sure that the infinite sprinting is because of the keyboard. I noticed tonight than one of my fits couldn't do it. I'd have to do some testing to confirm, but I think it might be the suits that I have the stamina regen low slot module on that can sprint without stopping. The one that wasn't able to do so was a logistics suit with an armor regen module. |
