Kind of loses that personal touch when you gotta go through a process to join a group of like minded people for gaming pleasure. I am sure we will be absorbed at some point, but I think for the whole beta process I shall remain the outlaw that I am.

You've never tried to join an EVE corp before I take it? Some corps have a 20some question questionnaire and a mumble (voice) interview.

Most corps I've seen ether require one to join or you are limited to where yo can get within the corp. But hey, it's only the one's I've seen.

If you want to be in the top end Steamroller squad, you will need a mic, otherwise as long as you can listen to communication thats the most important thing.

Honestly, I'm doubt I'm skilled enough to be in your best squad anyway, and I won't be going for a squad leader position. I'll send in an application, and see about getting a mic.

Clans do not need operational security.
They do not need to be careful who they give corp wallet access to.
They do not have a corp hangar where people with rights can potentially access billions in assets.
They do not have spies that take months or years to get in position.

This is a terrible corporation and all of you should join it.

As much as we like to keep the healthy competition going with other groups, a lot of people don't realize we use are still putting fun first. For example, my new 2km+ skydiving program* is now operational after a few ... bugs ... were worked out.

The members of this corp are really fun to squad up with, not to mention skilled (most of them, anyway). We win 9/10 matches we play, even when another corp is on the opposing team. Betamax is pretty much unstoppable.

No problem and if I wasn't already in a corp, I'd join. While I'm here, what is Betamax doing for corp v corp battles next build? Depending on how the CvC battles take form, is Betamax interested in a "sparring" corp?

I was going to give a long winded post about how the current corps are going to see a shift as they succeed/fail in corp battles and why I think betamax will do well....

But I'm not going to blabber a load of crap nobody cares for.
If I were you, sign up to all the corps, talk to all of them, play with all of them and when you are done, make your choice.

FYI i'm not the corp leader, and also Fiasco's definition of "farming" is using squad orders.

We condemn boosting within the Corporation and will be delt with swiftly. As of right now you can apply at betamax.enjin.com and join the Betamax channel to chat and squad up with fellow members. If you are a new recruit or trying out the corp with Betamax, please state that when looking for a squad so we can properly get you in a squad. There are many squads that go on at any time so please be patient when looking for squad.

We are dealing with problems with accepting applicants at this second and will be fix by tomorrow thanks to the help of CCP Nullarbor. Right now we can only accept 21 players but we will be able to accept more than 100 tomorrow when we are able to switch CEO's back again.

I do know when we are able to field all Corp. teams the games will be very competitive. Much better than doing the random matches, redlines are not much fun, rather have a close game.

How big is your presence in EvE? I'm tired of playing with randoms and am looking for a good corp that will have a decent connection to our 'mother' game, with the eventual hope of helping own and hold some territory in null sec.
