The key to a microtransaction game is to have very small convenient things to purchase. The trick is, the player can easily spend more money on the game without realising it....or caring. A small 5$ investment is nothing, but once they do that 4 or 5 times they feel invested in the game and if it is FUN enough they will want to keep playing because they have willingly put money into it.
LOL works so well because it has so many unique heros to choose from and people find their favorites and have a meta game stratagy built up. The only thing in a FPS that is dynamic and changes are the skills that are invested into, allow those to be more flexible with AUR and I think that will be an interesting cash cow for quite some time.
I like to change my Skin on my Suits. Lik: color, pattern, surface structure and so on. |

I like the idea of respeccing for AUR. It makes them money and could help keep the game fresh. We've all been pissed when our favorite gun gets nerfed in a patch, imagine now that you had to spend 3 months to skill up for that gun. Without the ability to respec people very well may get frustrated and simply quit.
In my opinion respeccing is gonna be important to retaining new players |

real paint jobs. Like in LoL I should be able to apply paintjobs to suits. Why do I have to buy them allready made? that's stupid if I spent real money on a cosmetic item I want it to last forever. If it doesn't then I don't want it.
I want the purchase that gives me black assualt suit armor to give me that color option on the militia and the prototype suit. Maybe with the differences in those suits could bleed through to the custom color. Militia doesn't have the glowly eye bits so black miltia armor wouldn't have the light bit. But prototype black would look cooler even though it's the same paint job. |

i know a lot of people who want cosmetics, and are willing to pay for it, I think that is also another way to make money and retain a playerbase, as long as custom colors don't affect latency/lag....I don't know enough about what makes what or what affects what. |

Do I have this correct, 5 cents = 10 AUR? Just want to make sure I am on the same page with everyone.
Things I am willing to pay AUR for: Unique BPC (of everything, equipment, weapons, suits etc.) [If cheap enough, ie. 5 cents = >10 AUR] Unique BPO (of everything, equipment, weapons, suits etc.) [I would pay 1,000 AUR for a BPO if the BPA was worth it...probably should only be militia or standard, not advanced or prototype] Custom paint jobs (of everything, equipment, weapons, suits etc.) Advertising corp in game (loading screen, MQ room) [I might pay for this if <1,000 AUR, i think others would also]
