Who or what Soki is shouldnGÇÖt be the least of your concerns, you will see little mention of who or what they are in New Eden if you tried looking, they don't exist as a corp., they donGÇÖt have a forum, they certainly donGÇÖt have a kill board, and they can certainly destroy most corporations when in the mood without firing a single shot and worst of all they don't leave calling cards or brag about doing specifc jobs.

Adding to that, this is the last official Soki statement to be made from this vessel. This vessel was compromised and is being punished for such. Should Soki believe it is in their best interest to contact you or your clan directly for its survival another vessel will be made available for that specific task and never again. If I get the gist, the warning is this. Corps fail from within. The history of new eden is replete with cascade failure of alliances because someone got greedy or a good offer from an enemy or simply ragequit. We call it meta game, because the truth that gamers might be anything other than gamers is to much like RL. Rather than freak at the responsiblity you are taking on revel in it, make it your own. Running a Corporation sounds fun if the real life job setup is limited to Burger King, et all.
Running a Dust Corporation when the real life job setup is about the same is not interesting to me.

I rather run around in Dust and just shoot instead of wondering about ISK and in the background checking what property/asset is worth what in yens/euros/dollars/pesos/et all.

There is nothing that super scary meta-gaming elite (man I wish there was punctuation to denote sarcasm) could do that any

reasonable person that would change their game. It's only the hot heads that go screaming to the forums when they get

I'm also going to throw my hat in with a 'what is even happening here I don't even'. Why can't we all just be smiling friends in one big social club? All this meta-game business... I could see it having an affect later, maybe (it's a first person shooter after all, It's not that deep), but as is, it's a beta with next to no real player grouping. Besides, all this headgame stuff really isn't a big deal, just do what you would do normally, act rationally, and have fun (fistbumbs to Da'Wg and Iceybums), if you buy into it that means you're already at a disadvantage.

And I think Bear Force1 is cool how they post that stuff publicly, transparency is the best policy (pretty sure Iron is just bored and trolling/bringing up the possibility for people to think about, which is a legitimate thing to do).
