When I log on to play and I only see maybe 300 total players, it makes me think that we need some mire players. We need a.way to get some dedicated players into the game. |

well until you see the new build come online you will keep seeing 300-400 players... unless it is a beta event weekend then it may be 500-600... but dont expect more players until new build is released momst people are bored of the same content for the past 3 weeks |

Honestly they need a better quality of players. I personally am sick of people on my team who play skirmish like its TDM. If they just want to sit on a tower with a drop ship I'll steal it and do what I can to get them killed. |

playing with randoms is only fun for so long, ppl get sick of it and go back to games they can play with friends... after ones "tested" all the stuff that's broken here this becomes redundant/mind numbing |

I hate MW3 with a passion but I play it because that's all my friends/clan plays. Soon as playing with friends etc become available it will be more bearable. |

Grouping is an easy way to get people to play together....I played ambush with my friends last night and had a blast....we didn't have to q sync because there was only one game up with maybe 16 people in it, being able to talk to your friends and consistantly play with them is very important to the survival of a game. They must get the mechanics of a FPS down FIRST then they can have all that eve tard stuff....the great FPS qualities is what is needed to bring people in, and then they'll stay for the progressive element, if it doesn't take them too long to be of use. |

i never understood the limited access keys CCP was giving its not like the servers are full! why not allow others who truly wanna try the beta to play constantly instead of torturing them by restricting there activity only to Beta events! |

Because they know you'd get bored of the game Unless i am playing with my peeps the game has become lack luster. Next build will be interesting, a lot of changes happening so here is to hoping. As long as CCP listens to the FPS crowd and ignores the dedicated EVE players, things may turn out well. |

I would say that as long as the servers seem to be overtaxed, then we absolutely don't need new players.
Anytime there seems to be over 300 players on the US server, the lag and hit detection is incredible.
CCP needs to make sure that the gaming environment and their network is up to par before worrying about more players.Without a stable gaming environment, nothing else matters because people won't play.I have a friend who has a beta key and won't play anymore because of the framerate and lag,and there are a ton of people out there that feel the same way.
If the majority of the 10k beta keys were given out in PS Home, why isn't at least half of those people playing? This is a serious question that CCP needs to not only address, but answer and rectify. |

find this kind of unfair.
dedicated eve player brought things to eve that ccp would have said no to. thats why in eve EVERY player has a say, we have the CSM a group of eve players that want change us the players tell these CSM peeps and they inturn talk with CCP. the players drive the future builds and releases. ccp asks us we say yay or nay, they come back with more refined idea and background. csm and ccp sit and work it out using the players of eve.
as fps'ers i hear ya'll talk about camping as a way of life, here you have a chance for a gaming company to listen and with the muscle of the eve players re-design FPS forever an open sandbox ,
current fps design,
shoot faces : yep shoot stuff: yep play multiplayer and shoot faces: yep. rinse and repeat the above : yep
now for dust shoot faces : yep shoot stuff, steal stuff, spy on folks, free from restraints, : hell yep mutlimegahuge player : meh am part of a 7,000 player alliance in dust , 24/v24 meh more 7,000 v the universe rinse and repeat above: hmm its a sandbox nothing is ever the same, all paths lead to others without an end, you do not play dust 514 you are dust 514
maybe band together with us eve players, form some kind of multi FPS/eve CSM, two different games being as one is fairly hard, more of this we are fps'ers shizzle does not help one bit. lets be fair everyone has sworn when you've been camped, its part of the fps game right ? so lets change that and the other shizzle, to make something worth while and groundbreaking. |

It's a really old build with some very glaring problems that make it pretty tiresome to play. Once the next build is out people will come back to play the game, but right now the delay between updates is really long and it shows. |

8 hours is how long most people play a beta, I'm shocked 300 people are still playing at any given time still. |

Where did you come up with that crazy math? How do you figure that 300 people=2000-3000 per day?
Besides, half of 10,000 is only 5,000,which still doesn't even support your argument. And mind you, that only the PS Home beta keys. What about the other how ever many people that got keys before that, who aren't playing?

Did that already non of them like the game because it's slow and boring! These are some quotes...
"I don't want to work a 9 to 5 to come home and work a 9 to 5"
" God this is the most boring game I've ever played I spend more time reading how to do **** then actually playing"
" I feel like I'm pulling a double on my guard duty post"
" I'd rather peel potatoes"
" It has potential but the biggest turn off for me is it feels more like a job than fun"
" Why is the hit detection so bad"
There are so much more ranging from why do all the weapons look the same in the given categories and why are there no attachments for weapons. You can do all this customizing to your person but not to your weapon. |

The issue is that the dedicated EVE players are all about what the game potential is with the MMRPG aspect, and not what the FPS IS. Dust is an FPS with behind the scene stuff. If the FPS isn't good the rest won't matter, period. I don't think people want a carbon copy of the shooters out there, but perhaps a carbon copy of the game mechanics wouldn't be a horrible thing. I think they have a good balance within the game right now, with a few bugs here and there, but the balance seems alright, that is what CCP needs to be successful, a variety of viable "class" settings which allow players to do what they want without making a particular loadout supreme, because then everyone will do it. The main problem I have with Eve players is that they think they are so smart, yet that doesn't matter in a FPS. |

thought is always required in any game, the idea that this will take more though or be too much for people is not an accurate statement. What might be too much for some people is the simple grinding aspect of the game, but making loadouts that maximize profit and such is not difficult, and setting up corps and being in "clans" and owning planets will also not be a big brain squeeze...but none of that will matter unless there are people to play the game, and in order for that to happen CCP needs to make the FPS mechanics on par with the other successful FPS out there. |
