Hear me out before flaming. Does anyone really have a problem with grenades being resupplied? I think that supply depots and nanohives should replenish them. Yes you can just re-upload your equipment at the supply depot to get more grenades but that uses up resources.
Let's not get the wrong idea about it though. I'm only talking about grenades, not REs though after the soon to come extreme nerf I wonder what the consensus will be then. COD used to let you get more claymores and c4 with scavenger until they fixed it but I think it still gave you grenades. BF3 is a little different because they give you a total amount of each. Just using them simply for comparison, not asking that Dust be just like that.
Dust anyone else feel it would be more useful to have them resupplied or shall the hazing commence?

no because someone will camp inside a nano hive and spam grenades
you're going to get flamed for having cod in your thread |

Yea, camping could happen. Dunno if it would be that much of a problem though. Would be interesting to test and see. I usually survive for long periods of times on the matches dying only a handful of times, and in most cases, someone has destroyed both supply depots and I'll be kicking myself for a grenade to chunk at a guy behind a corner or tower.
As for flamage just for COD mentioned, I don't really mind |

I'm for supply depots resupplying grenades but not nanohives due to probable spamming. |

It'd be super easy to take down someone staying within the confines of a nanohive, so I think resupplying nades that way would be fine |

I agree with Malone on this one.
Additionally, grenades don't have too much range so I would be surprised if camping with them was a useful tactic at all. |

I think they should add some timer when it comes to resupplying your grenades. |

Supply depots will resupply grenades. Just change the fitting to the one you're currently using and you'll have the full supply.

I think maybe there should be a particular nanohive that only resupplies grenades, and nothing else. But even then,if people are going to camp nanohives or resupply depots and grenade spam,it's not like you can't blow them up.They are destructible,so it's not really OP,imo.
But then again,I'm a grenadier by nature in FPS games,so I'm a bit bias. |

how about the ability to increase capacity of grenades? instead of 2 you can build it through skills to 8? speaking of nades how about a sticky bomb? throw the nade and it sticks to whatever you throw it at? |

im guessing that you havent figured out that inorder to get more grenades from a supply depot
all ya gotta do is re select your dropsuit fitting
and no grenades from a nanohive (that white bubble creates grenades?)
best way to make it believeable is thinking that the magazine isnt firing traditional bullets and the merc doesent discard spent mags when they are empty...the nano hive charges them :)

This won't ever happen. They may make restocking easier or even allow for it through a vehicle module. |

I don't have any problem with grenades NOT being resupplied by nano hives. Besides, I find it kind of unnecessary to allow resupplying of grenades through that method. You can replenish already with the supply depots... assuming some jerk hasn't already destroyed them. |

Grenades are considered Gear more or less, and thus when used, are permanently depleted. Think of it this way, you bought a gun, not the ammo, so as long as that gun exists the nanohive will resupply the ammo inside. When you buy grenades or nanohives or whatever, when you deploy them, they've been used, meaning you're no longer in possession of them and thus they wont be resupplied. I know it sounds a little weird but it makes sense.
In fact when you "resupply" grenades at a supply depo by switching to the same loadout, they're not being resupplied, you're actually pulling another set of grenades out of your inventory and equipping them. Grenades themselves cost ISK, the bullets themselves don't actually cost anything, which is why bullets are resupplied via nanohives, but grenades are not. |

Imagine someone in a tank on top of the building shooting three rockets every two seconds. Oh wait, this is already possible. Let's try again. Imagine someone with a 1400 damage forge gun on the building north of A with unlimited ammo. Oh wait, this is already possible. Let's try again. Imagine someone with a mass driver shooting explosive grenades with unlimited ammo. Oh wait, this is already possible.
And now tell me why do you think grenades should not be restocked while a ton of other things that are equally deadly and have longer range are restocked anyway? Also, why care? If he's on the building, just snipe him or squish with a dropship like usually. |

Absolutely! An advanced nano hive that can resupply explosives would be fine imo. This way fitting requirements can be increased, so it's not feasible for assaults or snipers to equip them. This prevents situations where a dozen assaults throw down a hive and get endless supplies of grenades. Coupled with the fact that hives themselves can not be replenished, and that nano hives are supposed to have limited supplies in future builds, spamming should not become a serious problem.

The difference is that every suit can easily fit grenades, and you don't have to give up your main weapon slot for it. People with massdriver or forge gun can't use an AR at the same time, limiting the versatility of their build. Also, forge guns are a direct fire weapon, that require you to expose yourself to the enemy. Grenades are not, which makes spamming them such an effective an cheap tactic. |

This is actually going to be in the next build. BUT nanohives will have a "resupply amount" limit and grenades will consume a lot. So no more infinite ammo, but refilling grenades will be possible. |

Having a module that equips to vehicles that allows to resupply grenades is a good idea I like it. It could be like a portable resupply depot (PRD for short) This way if some jerk does go and blow up all the resupply depots (not a bad strat actually) You can always call in a vehicle if you have it equiped with a PRD module. |
