y dose it seem the ppl camping and woried about there kd r the ones geting all the sp i thought this game was not based on kd im throwing spwans repairing ppl and reviving and geting 5 - 10 kills and geting lowe sp. r there other logistics players having this isu.i would like to see kill asists when im repairing a hevy who is mowing down ppl. |

I played as a logi yesterday and earned about 80k SP (without booster) iirc. I had less than 10 kills, and it was my fist match of the day so diminishing returns was not in effect. |

when I play lobistics i make a big diffrence in a match when im the only one keeping all the ppl on the targets and giving amor and amo when the class is played right its the only thing that can get u bake in the battle when your pushed back to your last spawn |

Worth mentioning, Logi isn't JUST about healing.
Reviving (if equipped for it), or resupply are also valuable to the team, and so is someone more focused on hacking and less on shooting. Capture the points, Supply Depots, CRUs, etc.
Bringing a Swarm Launcher can help a Logi player a lot too - give your team some AV support when you're not busy with your "real" job. Also, ride in a tank, hop out to repair or take down those pesky Dropships that keep throwing Missiles your way. |

My experience as a logistic LAV driver has taught me that it probably takes more time, effort, and skill to actually get someone to know you're healing them than it does to kill someone.
Yet, you only get a few +15's when you actually manage to heal someone. Usually maybe +45 total when you heal a heavy from 1% to 100%.
The tanks are where the good war point totals are. You get a +25 for repairs on tanks, and as it takes damage you can see those +25's pop up one after another. That's probably where I spend most of my focus now since the infantry has zero clue I'm supporting them. They usually think I'm fishing for a gunner, well, no I'm not. The logi LAV I'm driving has a .5 damage multiplier, I even put the rail turret on it in an effort to convince people I don't want gunners.
I could really use some kind of signal or sign to pop up letting them know I'm at least trying to lock on to them with my infantry rep. It needs to be small and out of the way. People are completely oblivious to why they're armor suddenly shoots up to 100% and then they see my LAV and don't really seem to put the two together.
Speaking of the infantry armor repair module built into my LAV; as well as, the hand-held repair tool...why don't they have visual lock on reticules? I hope this isn't intended.
Aside from all of this, I still get plenty of kills by running people over.
Also I've recently taken a Surya and loaded a heavy remote armor repair on it. I managed to sacrifice only a little of the defenses I have on my normal Surya so it's basically a Logi Surya now. I still haven't found enough people with Surya's to armor tank with. It's been really fun to use on a Soma or Madrugar, it repairs 410 per second over a 10 second pulse for five pulses, so they're 100% in no time.
I'd load on a shield transporter if it would give me points for it; but until that happens, I'm sorry Sagaris drivers I can't help you very much. |

I pretty much usually run with the Logi suit and to be honest..... Don't know??? Haven't worked out the SP points yet but played quiet a few games today, and my best one was ATTACKING went 40,000 something SP, 400,000 something ISK, had 12-15 kills (can't remember was more occupied getting objectives).
Captured a lot of objectives that game: - 5 CRU's (captured back and forth until they were blown up) - 3 Supply - Caputred A, B & C a couple of times each (was going back and forth the capturing). - Destroyed 1 missle installation & 1 Blaster installation (the ones in front). - Capture 1 Blaster - Placed a few spawn points. - blew up a couple of guys with RE while capturing. (look around an objective before you hack) - Repaired a couple of tanks. & Installation at start while marked as an objective +37 pops up every time so a bit there.
Took out 2 dropships (one with RE and AV grenade while it was trying to squash me the other in a missle turrent on a dropship), 1 tank (dropship) and 1 LAV (missle turrent in a tank), while hitching rides between objectives.
But had one dropship pilot being my personal taxi between objectives towards the end.
GAMES ARE SO MUCH MORE FUN WHEN YOU CAN COMMUNICATEANDCO-ORDINATEWITH TEAMMATES!!! (when do we get team grouping??)
Stayed mostly on the side of the map that vehicles weren't, not many infantry running in that match, most in vehicles. Made for easy running / hitching rides in circles capturing.
Would love to know how the SP works to concentrate more time in those areas.
But guessing capturing gets you lots definitely. |

Im of the opinion that repair and spawn rewards are too low.
Team spawns should net you 50 WP
Team repairs should net you 30.
A logistics suit is a terrible platform for being the "frontline hacker". Its slow, is weak, it has a massive hitbox, it has a big neon sign that says target above it and snipers seem to do +1000 damage against it.
Hackers are scouts and assault guys. Logistics in its present state should just hide. |

Camping aka sniping doesn't net you a lot of SP compared to the other classes.
Camping aka guarding aka team play will net you more SP as you are actually in the middle of skirmishes actively taking part.
You playing as a logistics triage should be getting decent SP but the game still needs some balancing as far as the class goes. |

I'm really enjoying repairing installations but I find repairing dropsuit armor and vehicles to be counter-productive and not really worth losing dropsuits over. I hope the next logistics suit come equipped with enhanced HUD display that will let us logi players know whom needs, revived, armor fixed, vehicle repaired or installation in danger of being destroyed. |

If they put them on par with Assaults in terms of shields then I wonder how they'll do shield tanking since the proto has 4 highs...I bet they'll be pretty beast.

OP, you need to drop Nanohives, uplinks, repair people and revive. When I play logi I get plenty of SP just from playing support. Killing people as a healer is secondary. |

I haven't had a chance to play Logi yet (tomorrow~), but that should really be a basic built-in feature for any "healer" in an FPS. |

I love B for setting up bases. put a uplink and a nanohive up in the pipes, and anytime anyone tries to hack I can mass driver them through the pipes and hold 'em off until reinforcements spawn on my beacon. |
