I am currently in a game where i'm fairly sure someone is using a modded controller.

A guy called Exptr was using a tactical assault rifle (basically its a high powered single shot AR) yet it was firing almost like a sub machine gun.

Im disappointed that someone is already using such cheating methods

so? its not like you can get banned by using a third party controller on a console game

besides we get KBM next build i would do what ever i had to, to get an edge

Its using a system to get an unfair advantage over other players, the very definition of cheating. Thats why tournaments ban them.

its also agains the TOS for any online games and i believe sony's policy.

probably just a glitch in the name and he actually had a sub machines gun or frame rate lag cause multiple bullets to appear at once

If CCP says it is then it is. If someone form CCP can refresh my memory but I think they banned a kboard from Eve. There was also a huge discussion about the G15 because of all its macro keys.

Have you ever played a Metroid game? I can work my trigger fast enough to make my Duvolle Tactical fire like a regular AR. It all depends on your experience.

doesn't the majority of kb/m macros and other buttons require software support? the ps3 will not support software macro buttons. i wouldn't believe, but then again i dont use any of these keyboards or mice to test in any way on a ps3

A lot of the newer mice and keyboard have all the software and hardware built in, no drivers required. The PS3 just sees a string of commands. And a server side detection of such would be destroyed by lag or a simply tweak to the macro command with a small but random wait.

Hahaha... "newer". You should know that programmable mice, keyboard and controllers have been around since 1985 or so. Not much change in those for all the time they've been around, the only thing I can say has changed, is custom re-mapping of extra keys.

My scramblers got somthing like 900 dmg in that one mag and I can unload it fast because I drink alot of coffee so try using one and you will see. Also strange story maybe a bug cos I cant do dmg with my one over 60m or so.

As for the Op well its weak naming and shaming with zero proof you should report it and be done with it IMO.

Also "modC,s" is incorrect, as commas don't belong there. The proper symbol is an apostrophe, like so "modC's". Another hint for you, periods belong at the end of sentences, not only at the end of a paragraph.

Oh, one more thing... There is a difference between shift, and caps lock. Nobody wants to read a line in full caps, it isn't so kind on the eyes.

@Veigar Mordekaiser - As for being the strict grammar ****; listen everyone has their own style, interpretation and ability to use the English language in a the written format. Just because one person's form and dialect of written English doesn't fit your normative ideology in the application of said language in the visual format don't make it less or wrong. I know of a few Linguistics and English professors that could argue the point better than I, but i will make an attempt.

It goes like this: we as human beings discriminate naturally. I am dubious of your claim that mice featuring software independent flash memory for macros have existed since 1985, if only because you couldn't fit more than a few bits of information in such a space until about 10 years ago.
