I didn't think it would kill us." Hands down my favorite Dust514 moment.

Avenger 245 Crux Special Tasks Group Gallente Federation 477	Posted - 2012.07.15 18:04:00 - [1] - Quote i just had my biggest oh ** moment ever on dust, i just got out of intense cqc combat and the red guys were running away so i go and try and bounce a grenade off a wall only to have it drop strait down in front of me my heart was all ready going from the cqc and by some strange loss of gravity i throw my self off my chair saying "oh " trying to get away from a in game grenade that betrayed me, my merc dies my team is mad at me and i am on the floor with my family wondering whats wrong with me. i figured someone else have a worse stroy than me that would make me fell better so please post, and save my injured pride. [edit] figured i add my most recent moment to the front page was just playing a match and i train up my sniper skills, i walking along one of those huge roof things in skrimish and as i was walking a bug moves me 3 meters ahead of where i was standing, and thats over open air. ironiclly my brain makes a Wile E. coyoty reference. then i fall down onto the ground dead center of a group with 2 heavys 3 something else and a sargis tank needless to say my only response was oh **. EDIT another more recent one from this build Was running around and talking to someone in RL when all of a sudden a enemy lav rounds the corner has it comes towards me I put up my RL arms and legs to protect my face from a in game LAV speeding towards. It doesn't help I still die and my friend bust out laughing at me

Definitely a Hero to Zero moment. :) But I didn't fall over IRL so I think you may still win. ;)

All the sudden I get the message that I need to reconnect my controller, (battery died.) So I immediately try to hook up my controller to the usb, when I see that the cord is no longer there! I jump up and start scanning the room for my cord as fast as possible when a heavy enemy walks up to my merc and stares at it for a bit before taking out his pistol and shooting me once, waiting a second, then shooting me a second time. Then I watch as he takes out his swarmers and tries blasting me with those. He goes through all 6 and I don't get a scratch. It was then that I found my cord right below the shelf my PS3 is on. I scrambled to it and watched in horror as the heavy began swiping at me. Once, twice, three times, four... I get my controller hooked up and started blasting him as fast as my little smg could shoot, but the heavy got off that last and final swipe before I could back up enough. And as soon as the screen said (O) Suicide, we blew up the MCC. I was so pissed at myself....

I take another militia one out, the turn around for more. I see nothing. Turn around again. Nothing. Turn back to the first side, and like a fking sea monster, it rises up from the ground. One badass Prometheus. I shoot him once. Nothing. Shoot him twice. Shields down. It rises up and then straight at my heavy, Charging up for a final shot, I fire and the burning ship crashes straight at me, 2 guys jump out and die, and my thumb randomly finds the triangle button. I press it and the flaming metal slides rigt over my head and to the ground. I turn back to the sun, flaming masses behind me. And from the afternoon bullet sounds only one word could be heard over the enemy mics. "Oh Sh*t."

Then heard a loud noise behind me and turned around... To find myself staring down the barrel of a Sagaris. Right after swapping AWAY from my Swarm Launcher. Kitten? Tried swapping weapons, and hit a lag spike, which fortunately also made the tank miss, and gave me a chance to get away from it while blasting away with my SMG (getting a few laughs from a teammate on the mic for being a noob).

Anyways, my favorite Oh ** moment was when.......... O :) I was doing some Rail gun work, and just sniping away some guys attempting to try to get to the cannons to hack them (I use a rail gun as a sniper because scopes are for pussies ;) ) , I turn around to jump off that big tower, and a fng dropship was right behind me just looking at me............ at that moment I proceeded to ** myself and jump off the side before he rams me. But somehow, this idiot rammed the tower and squashed me lol.

Just once I was running around with my forge gun when I saw a tank, I ran straight towards it, charging up my gun when I saw the guy in front of me get killed by it in one hit and I looked at it closer and saw that it was a Sagaris. I let go of the trigger button, turned around and ran away like a little girl. I did survive, not the most fun thing to be running away while one of those things is shooting at you.

Don't worry, you're not the only one missing it. Find the settings menu, it defaults to "off" for no coherent reason. You can turn it on there, and all will be well.

But killing a Bolas can be fun, and tend to be very destructive to whatever it carries. The best I thing were one where there were two of them literally falling over each other delivering vehicles to the same spot I guess, I killed one, and it in turn killed the dropship under it, and the tank next to it. + a lot of enemies trying to get into either.

While being on Left side, killing with one shot every one of Reds trying to take B, I saw a dropships shadow. I realized that guy has "parked" and is coming for me. I came to see him....and "Oh **..." HMG "ok...I'm screwed" one shot wont kill him...but I will not die without battle so I released R1, !!HIT!!...Running to the edge to make my escape. After shot I instinctively pressed R1. While on the ledge I turned over to see my killer....But hi didn't kill me so I released trigger (I was under the tower level) ...and I killed him . I was like "Oh **...really?" and forgot to press X while falling...Ground was so hard... The other thing is guy in the dropship that landed behind my back on the tower and started rocket camping campaign. So I shot him of the turret....HE DID THIS 5 TIMES IN THE ROW
