Weapons with charge times should have a HUD element displaying their charge (similar to heat indication). This is most notable with the charge sniper rifle which has no indication, but would also benefit forge guns which you need to gauge by ear. Rail guns are less impacted, but it would still be nice to have. |

There was a red ring that filled up last build for charge weapons. Dont know why it didnt get in this build |

I think this was changed as a balaning issue. They did a couple nerfs to the forge gun and this was one of them. |

I agree. There ought to be some sort of indicator for charge-based weapons as to when its ready to fire. From a practicality/realism standpoint, it seems very odd for such weapons to not have that.
I'm open to any number of possible indicators - sound, HUD meter / ring, glowing LED light on the gun, etc - but there needs to be something. |

I'm open to any number of possible indicators - sound, HUD meter / ring, glowing LED light on the gun, etc - but there needs to be something. I really like the sound idea the best (I'm spacing on specific examples and names, but a few are on the tip of my tongue as being memorable for unique sounds indicating they're ready to fire in various sci-fi series.) That said, for accessibility reasons, it should be in combination with flashing indicator lights on the weapon model (and scope HUD), so that deaf players aren't left out of the loop. I don't like the ring around the crosshairs, though, as it's a little immersion breaking. Audible and integrated (weapon model / scope graphics) are definitely preferably, unobtrusive, and both immersive and realistic. |

I really like the idea of the indicator on the gun, but this introduces a problem for turrets/ tank guns. Maybe have the charging ring on turrets, etc. and the indicator on the gun for the forge. |

Even gives the targets something to keep eyes on and try to compensate for, introducing yet another skill aspect (and yes, I use tanks and other turrets, quite a bit in fact, so it's not like I'm saying this to make them easier to fight against). |

Definitely needed for the charge sniper rifle! Sometimes it feels like the time varies, as there is no indicator. |
