Can we please remove the warning page about the PS move from EVERY single time we start the game (Assuming this isn't some irritating Sony feature that came with a PS3 update)? A "Do not show this again" or at least the option to skip past it with X/Start or something would be good!
I don't own a Move, and I don't want to read about how to successfully knock over furniture every time I play DUST....
I sucessfully worked out how to do that when I bought a Kinect for my wife 9 months ago. |

legal stuff so if someone playing dust uses their move and smacks their grandparent in the face, they cannot sue sony. |

Between the unskippable move screen, loading, connecting to servers, checking files, loading, selecting your character, loading, merc quarters, finding a battle, loading, going into the pregame lobby, waiting in the pregame lobby for the game to start, loading and then the spawn timer, it takes an awful long time to get into a match by most shooter standards. |

i agree. i hate that all games show this and that there is no "do not show again" option. its a sony thing that has to be in the beginning of every game supporting the Move. this warning label was not in the beta before this last update. :'( |

Couldnt they make it so it at least detects if a Move is plugged in, and if so, show the warning (and in the event of the Move being plugged in after the game as loaded, the game then fades out to show the warning (if it 'is' in fact a legal thing).
That way, those of us without moves can get along with no warning |

Remove the warnings, or remove the Move support. Nobody gives a crud about the Move, and it's annoying as heck.
Let us disable them at the very least, even if it disables the Move support as well. (Because as mentioned, noone cares about it.) |

Yeah, it's a legal thing. Same reason disposable cups say "caution: contents hot" since someone actually had a successful lawsuit over not expecting their coffee to be hot. |

sony doesn't want to risk the legal spat of

If directions on how to use the move safely are included when you buy a Move, then isn't Sony covered?
Those without a Move don't need to be told how to use it. Those who do use a Move...don't need to be told how to use it. It's just annoying and in the way for everyone involved. |

Yes however they probably put it up there so people are like man....I want to get a Move now.... I've use the move before it's ok but honestly I like the good old controller more.
I would defiantly like to see it removed for those of us that don't use a Move. |

Like said above, this is something to bug sony about, their their channels :(
I would personally love it if there was somewhere in the ps3 settings where you could check a box saying "I am not a moron and do not need to see this warning message. If I break something with the move I recognize that it was me derping and not sony's fault." and never see it again. |

Win. I say remove Move support then. I don't need a 17 second Move commercial, f*cking Microsoft powerpoint on my screen just for a stupid control scheme.
Just joking by the way. |

If the move screen is mandatory, I'd at least think it should be ok to skip past it quickly with a button press. Perhaps the "X" button on a Dualshock 3... But not if you are on move. You are getting your warning screen :P.
But hey, wouldn't it make sense to just show the warning screens when you connect a motion controller? I never did understand the warning screens when you don't even have a move controller connected... Well, I kind of do. It lets you know the game is move enabled. |

It's a Sony requirement for all Move-compatible games to have this screen on startup.
I don't think they realise that people who don't care about the Move won't buy it just to shut up a screen that it won't get rid of anyway. |

The move screen (and other warnings like "Warning: Contains Milk" on milk cartons) are brought to you by:
- The man who tried to sue Michael Jordan for looking like him - The Robber who sued a Family as he couldn't leave their house (was stuck in the garage, and they were on holiday) - The woman who sued a shop for breaking her ankle (after tripping over her own son who was running around) - The guy who sued a family after he shot pellets at their dog and it bit him on the bum - The woman who sued a restaurant for slipping over a drink that she threw and her boyfriend
and many, MANY more |

Unfortunately, it has to be there for people borrowing a friend's Move controller without reading instructions, or buying second hand from people who "lost" them (threw them out because they're useless), or for people who think they're smart enough that reading the instructions is "beneath" them. |

meh look at them how they argue about having to wait additional 5-10 seconds to play a f2p game. I think we are reaching new heights of. . . self-centeredness. . . sorry bros and sis but you cant sue ccp / sony for showing a warning that prevents them from being sued for not showing it. Do something useful if you hate so much to wait this short span of time, cure cancer, rtfm, something along those lines. . .
I do in fact expect an extra warning sign for the the kb/m that warns you about the dangers of strangling your pets/complete strangers with the cord. |

You can just hit the X button repeatedly to fast forward thru it, I think it is 6 to 7 X button presses
Heck I remember a time when DVD's didn't have promos, you could pop it in and bingo you were at the start or the menu, none of this loading nonsense or not being able to FF to the menu.
Every game that has move support has resulted in people asking for the ability to turn off the warning or some way around it, sony hasn't cared for the last year, but maybe you guys can have better luck, if you actually voice your concerns to sony. |

I'd like to see what the percentage of people who actually want Move support in the game is. It's likely less than 1%, and they should just toss the support entirely unless the warning is removable. |

It wouldn't be so bad if it was in the loading screen for the incredibly long log-in process. But to have it added on *top* of the already really long login process is pushing it. |
