There's diminishing returns in place. Your first few games per day have bonus SP, then it goes down from there every few games or so it seems. If you keep playing and playing before the "new day" triggers (which seems to be at 00:00 GMT now), you'll have a lower and lower max SP you're able to earn.
It's to prevent someone from grinding to 90 million SP their first day, and keep it more fair than it could be for the people who have limited time to play each day. |

These games are about 12 hours apart from each other. The first was when I went to bed the prior day, the second was my first game of the morning... mabye it wasn't exactly the first game but I wasn't paying attention to the SP after the battle till I realized it was taking a long time to get a 70k skill.
According to what I've heard the bonus is about 50% and resets after 4 hours of inactivity.
This does not fall into those categories at all. |

more fair went out the window when you could buy better weapons with real money. |

Nope, it's on a "new day" cycle, not a "period of inactivity" cycle. It's been resetting at 00:00 GMT recently (last build was happening at like 06:00 or 07:00 GMT). I'm not sure what time zone you're in, but if you US pacific, that means the reset happens at 5pm. It's very easy to play for the night, start hitting the diminishing returns, then come back in the morning and make it even worse. |

Yeah the skill points you get seem very random, still cant figure it out. Even with a great game played with lots of kills low deaths lots of hacks and turrets destroyed and a victory it can be like 60k sp with booster, then the next game that only get 7 kills and 1 death and get 198k sp and it definatly wasnt a new day. its weird lol. |

That post is only acknowledging that there are diminishing returns... what I'm stating here is that the "Diminishing" is an extreme absurdity.
Normally you'd expect EXP on such a system to be handed out as such: oooooxxxxx where o is the Base EXP earned and x is a bonus here the bonus is 50% of available EXP oooooxxx oooooxx ooooox ooooo ooooo ooooo
Kind of system where you bottom out on bonus but you can still earn base exp.
Now the system I see here is
oxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (200K exp) Here the bonus is practically the entire shebang oxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx oxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx oxxxxxxxx oxx ox o o (8K exp)
Which just makes it aggravating to play if you want to relax for a day. |

I don't know. From my experience, the drops seemed to be in 3s, as in:
oooooooooooooooxxxxx oooooooooooooooxxxxx oooooooooooooooxxxxx ooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooo oooooooooo oooooooooo oooooooooo ooooo ooooo ooooo
Honestly, if you're at the point of having a max of 8k, you've played a LOT of games. Maybe it seems so drastic because we're running at 4x SP right now, so a percentage drop is a much larger drop. |

Prior to this, the minimum EXP I earned from battles was about 15K steady, with a spike of 50K every now and then
As it is now, I've had a spike of... 150K (one game only) down to 8k steady..
The exp boards are wobbling in unpredictable manners, unless someone is changing the details behind the scenes and not telling us. |

I have not experienced that in the weeks I've been playing. It has always been a steady 3 games per tier of rewards from what I've seen, with variability depending on how much I did. |

Isn't the SP reward partly based on the value of what you're killing as well?
I'm not sure, but I think I read that somewhere (I'm kind of new around here though, so correct me if I'm wrong).
It's possible the kills on the high-scoring game were against better-equipped targets than the low-scoring one. |

A kill, according to the scorecards, only award 50 points each regardless of equipment. There is also WAR POINTS to consider. I have no idea how to check these, and I've heard they might have something to do with EXP.
There is information that we can look at our war points somewhere.. but I have no idea where this may be. Is it on an Eve related area? (the access point I mean) |

Those 50 points from a kill are the war points I believe. You can check your total on the in-game leaderboards, for some reason this build doesn't show them on the character sheet. |
