That's like asking why Battlefield has RPG's or stingers. Ground troops need something, albeit underpowered, to help take out heavy armor. |

I really dig the SL on a scout suit for AV. The fact that the missiles fire out a little ways before heading towards their target means you can get a lock and then move to cover before firing makes them very fun to use. |

soo CCP why ? WHY not just remove the Swarm launcher from the game? its junk and fail wail now so why keep the thing in the game ?
as for even one els that's bitching a bout it its because its only in close up fighting that the SL gets its power which in the last maps was why you had so meany noobs crying about it !
its a 1 shot kill close up fighting weapon and was fine how you had it may be remove 50% of its range and you would have fixed it .
but now with the seeing how you want to bend over to noobs why not just out right kill it ?
like i said be for theres to meany other things in game that can kill tanks and troops faster and safer and cost less so why keep this junk in here ?
the way it was was fine when you get into maps were its long rage to mid range fighting with the SL do,s not help you cuz you cant hit stuff at range dum firing it. i think you CCP need to rely think on doing 1 or the other here 1 remove the SL from the game or put it back to the way it was be for and remove 50% of its range . come on CCP show us you know what you guys are doing here !

It's fine as it is, You're just crying because it got nerfed.
It was OP in the last build and now i use a lot as an anti vehicle weapon and it does the job great. I can kill a couple of tanks and dropships every time i spawn if its a vehicle heavy game.

and you shouldn't have to, that's exactly what the swarm launcher is. the light suits anti-vehicle option. in that regard, it's pretty good right now. i don't want it gimped any further, but i do want the forge gun UN-gimped.
i AM trained to use heavy suits and forge guns... and i don't... the swarm launcher is BETTER than the forge gun. that's my problem. i'm not saying the swarm launcher shouldn't WORK, i'm just saying the forge gun should be BETTER. since it is more training, and significantly more fitting, restricted. |

Try aiming up before you fire, the higher position makes it that much more likely to get a full spread. |
