...that I keep having thoughts about hopping back on EVE even though I don't like EVE. I literally have to talk myself out of playing. It's ridiculous, I know, but I have yet to find another game to become enthralled in like DUST.
One thing is for sure: I am getting tired of spending $60 on titles that hold my interest for about a week.

If there would have consistently been players online to play, I might of kept playing Hawken because it was a well made game that took skill to kill your opponents.

A claim for Emotional Suffering might work in the US but CCP is based in Iceland and the CCP Shanghai team is based in China. I doubt such a claim would work in either of those places.

Well, I've been logging into EVE almost daily now as an Alpha clone. All I do is queue up my next skill (as there was a lot of basic skills I ignored due to being focused on industry), queue up my next blueprint research, check chats/mail, and log out. I haven't found a reason to undock yet. I am not sure why I am doing it which is obvious if you read the original post. Maybe I am still hoping for integration between EVE and Nova or maybe hopping into EVE for a short time reminds me of a game I used to love to play. Either way, it's pretty sad.

I actually started to try a few things out of station but CCP really has Alpha clones locked down where there seems little point. Alpha clones do seem useful to get new players into the game at their own pace but there's really no point in playing as an Alpha clone if you got used to full access. And I don't have enough interest in EVE to pay for the subscription. I've just been killing time.

I'm still in EVE simply accruing my last few open skills, researching blueprints, and harvesting materials. Basically, mostly AFK actions. Who knows? Maybe I'll eventually use all that stuff some day.
I do mess with ships fits just to see exactly what can be used as an Alpha clone. I still can't believe the lowest transport ships are all locked to Alpha clones. I used to love running transport missions in low and null sec. Sure, I was basically just a target but a very elusive one that would trash talk all the while. I remember one time being followed around a dozen jumps by a group of wannabe gate campers. Yes, I got away but they ended up getting me a short time later as I had another mission along the same path.
It was fun but not worth the subscription to me.
If there's any other Alphas out there that want to go see what we can get away with, let me know. I am always in Viktor's channel.

FYI: I found out I was wrong about the transport ships. All I had previously were Gallente ships due to their specialization but I am a Minmatar Alpha clone so I can only fly Minmatar transports. I produced a Wreathe and a Mammoth and plan on running some missions over the weekend. I am sure in another week or so I will get bored with EVE again but I am not playing really anything else at the moment anyway.
BTW, I am a bit irritated that as an Alpha clone that I cannot sale anything much over it's actual value. I can kind of understand why (with how EVE players are) but it is still annoying as I made my character for industry.
