Don't want to go too much into details, but the president of the US being constantly listed into the top 3 most powerful people in the world must mean something. Yes, in a democracy there must be multi level monitoring bodies which ensure that a single man does not gain too much power, but in every democracy there's also a way that let the governor govern in case he does not have the full endorsement of some of the monitoring bodies / other branches of government (not sure about the US, but I believe it's the Senate there). Well the good news is that a Nuclear war with Russia is very unlikely. Putin likes Trump. In fact Putin put a lot of effort into getting Trump elected. So, if he uses the Nuclear codes it likely will only mean the end of a City or two, rather than the end of the world. I am just glad that my Prim Minister is very diplomatic and has never said anything that might offend Trump... and that I live thousands of miles away from my country's capital. If Trump demanded that a Nuclear bomb be dropped on Jerusalem or Reykjavik, would anyone of the Generals and other staff required to arrange the launch make a moral stand and refuse to do it? Also, since Trump does not believe he can make mistakes he will not need to take much time to ruminate over the laws he wants to pass. He will likely just come up with ideas and get them passed into law without really giving any thought to the consequences and implications of what he is doing. Impulsive President who does not believe his can make mistakes. + A Republican controlled House and Senate. = A lot of changes coming really fast. I take solace in the fact that the White middle class voters with no Collage education who voted him in are likely to get completely screwed over by a Trump presidency. They will have to learn this lessen the hard way, but at least some of them might learn. Maybe after Trump completely screws the US economy the Democrats can use the "Make America Great Again" slogan in the 2020 Election. Isn't 2020 the 100 year anniversary of women in America getting the right to vote? Maybe the Democrats can find a better female candidate next time.
