Suit hp levels seem to be (maybe) equal to base suit hp levels from Dust. I know I shouldn't read into this, but it does make me think. If suit modules are even a thing, perhaps it'd be better without the option of hp mods at all. They are just boring and too attractive for people. |

AFAICS, there are six classes to choose from. Has the fitting system been axed? Can we expect to be restricted to preset and rigid classes, or is this likely to be more of a guideline?
Borderline dealbreaker for me here. Fitting was half the fun of Dust. Wish I could remember what Rattati said, but I think he did imply there would be customisation options. I'd love to know how far this goes though. We could have just weapon and equipment choice, or modules as well. I'd love to know. |

I've literally gone through hundreds of fits in my DUST time and tinkering was great fun. A simplified fitting system doesn't necessarily mean a worse one. It could be done with more finesse. |

Rewatched the interview with Rattati and Frame. Rattati says the progression would have the "same freedom" but is not meant to be as confusing. Lots of options and then deciding on specialisation (edit: talking about progression). Expand into racial specialisation (again, progression.
This doesn't exactly answer the question, but I'm hopeful it implies a certain amount of customisation. |

This doesn't exactly answer the question, but I'm hopeful it implies a certain amount of customisation. Progression is intended to be simple enough that a new player won't bugger themselves, while retaining the actual progression of personal power. That's what I thought. What's not clear is whether the statement about "freedom" applies to fitting modules on suits or whether he just means you can use any of a variety of pre-made fits. |
