DUST Search - Fanfest Schedule: Nothing on Dust or Next Game

Presumably they are going to talk about it during the "Updates on New Eden" talk after the opening ceremony.

Even the announcement on Dust game screen points out that they've come to the conclusion that Dust's game mechanic and the planned Legion game mechanic they previously intended is not something they can accomplish on PC. Whatever sneek-peek shows up in Fanfest 2017, (not Fanfest 2016, because that's way too early), it won't run like Dust 514, and won't run like a BETTER Dust 514. It will only have New Eden gadgets and gear and vehicles roaming around in it. Hopefully that will be enough to please you players (....even though it won't be nearly enough to please ones like me). ...And my Dust 514 commemorative Tee-shirts are due to be delivered to me by May 6th. Rock-on! Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne... No story can have life without writers and publishers.

And it had been issued to vets after leaving Jove space, an unreasonably beautiful weapon crafted by none other than Karisim Vynneve himself. But there was more to Vynneve's art: The Exile AR BPO was the only BPO that that would allow assembly without Ident circuitry. It was as its name implied, a true exile, a high tech weapon that cast no shadow in cyberspace. He was Siebestor. He had a proto cloak, he had a proto reactor and he probably had enough time.... A few hours later and it was done: a kluge to be sure, but a kludge with a virtually infinite power source, given the low demands of cloaking such a small mass. His merc quarters weren't safe, of course, but in the ghettoized outer deck of the station where mercs were quartered there were plenty of options. He chose a minor conduit that fed a deck maintenance bay, stashing the bundle where a maintenance tech or bot would never go. Perhaps a foolish gesture, but he knew beyond a doubt that he wasn't the only merc taking precautions, making plans.
