But on a serious note, I think that Myofibs should just not get the jump thing period.
In my twilight days, I chose to run around punching people pre jump bonus, and it was hilarious. First because you got killed by me on the ground, true shame there, and with fists no less. Then they added the stupid jumping thing and melee just wasn't humiliating anymore, so therefore not fun.
The problem with CCP buffing this was that they're trying too hard to make this game competitive in every fashion. But sometimes you need to put an outlet for pointless douchebaggery. PLCs, ADS (only in good hands), punchy's, and nova knives all had their time in that sun, but with all these damn buffs, they're no longer fun.
That's my two cents on it anyway.

Problem solved. I understand that this fix will work but you guys just don't seem to get it. Its not taboo to make a game less real if it means we will enjoy it more, and its not a necessity to spoil the fun to make the game fair. Its the right idea but the wrong approach, the root of the problem needs to be addressed rather than tagging it with a condition.
I don't personally see a single high speed jump as a problem. I see it as an advantage with a clear downside.
Slowing down the jump itself would work, but I personally think it'd look and feel awkward and be fairly gimpy for most intended purposes.

If this is true, "Jump Speed" would have nothing to do with the problem directly.
This is the first time I have really heard one way or another what exactly influences the extra jump height. I don't know which is the actual case, but it seems to me that we should be certain of what numbers are influenced if we are going to come to solutions with any real benefits.

PLC is always fun I love it!
However The python is about as UP as UP gets in this game. Thanks to all of the ******* tears from certain idiot biased CPM 1 members of the past I say.... |

A fair nerf to jumpies would be to make them decelerate faster.
Currently, the gravity physics are too light, and with enough myo's, they seem to "hover" in the air for 5 seconds more than jump.
At least make them land faster if you won't nerf the height limit. Be reasonable.

add a charge requirement for high jumps. Meaning, in order to get the highest jump, the player has to pre-press the jump button longer and maybe be 'semi-crouched' while doing so. No more instant vanishing via myojump.
