My feedback for the event:
Yay an event!
Yay an event for logis!
Rewarding kill assists is great as it is much better for newer players, rather than just the stomp squads. I think I would rather see kills and kill assists though, as just rewarding assists creates a slightly weird situation where it's best not to kill enemies. Still, pretty nice, rewards teamwork.
Warpoints are ok, but they aren't really specifically aimed at logis. I consider the fact that logis earn significantly more warpoints than other roles to be a game balance problem, rather than something to celebrate.
I would rather the reward was only for warpoints generated by equipment, than just general warpoints. So kills, assists, hacks, squad commission and vehicle damage wouldn't count. That would make it much more a logi event, accepting that other classes can also use equipment.
Events are best when it encourages players to play the game a bit differently, whilst still encouraging them to win (no installation destruction).
Still, should be fun  . |

If you're a logi and you aren't getting at least 500 WP either your team stomped incredibly hard or you weren't with your team to help out.

I'm imagining a rep that takes as much PG/CPU as an advanced rep, can have two targets, but heals more if only put on one target. Yeh.
And actually gives you WP for healing tanks, which I sometimes do because sometimes they just happen to be blocking an entire laser show of death and pain.

1) There are proto needles that repair 80% armor on revival, and an lp version that does 100%
2) There are nanohives that supply and heal, they are called the best nanohives
And 3) Why what no. Shields are already powerful enough.

As a player who runs Nanohives, despite running out on the frontlines to shoot others, I can tell you now they're pretty easy WP. Plant one in an area near/looking over the NULL-Cannon, or plant them next to a Sniper, and you'll be racking up points. If you're trying to hold your the Objective on this one map I remember, you're gonna be pinned down, with next to no access to a Supply Depot nearby. The rapid-firing and low-ammo players watching over it with you will be grateful. And then you factor in the 'objective defense bonus', which is approximately 20-25% (from what I recall) of the bonus from an action.

People stop complaining that events are to hard, to easy, free stuff don't want - not good enough.
From all of us who appreciate the effort of CCP, we thank you for not making us grind for a week to get a cool reward.
Those of you who say you won't/don't want it- don't play. I for one am not locked into a single role I play all rolls when my team needs them, slayer, AV, reper, drop, hives, hacker, tank, dropship, HMG and yes the all so hated sniper.
Get the reward and maybe you can try a new roll in the future to make the game different.

I wholeheartedly agree with ya. Though I can't run as many as ya, you have a point. Events are nice when they have hard/impossible to get otherwise gear, simply because you just have to do a little here and there, and you get it!

I'm all for this event, but is it actually going to be linked to Logistics shenanigans?
Can the event be completed in only a logi suit for example?
CCLs idea for triage based link to count towards score, way to separate kill WPs from triage WPs.
It should be a dedicated event not just any event with a Logi ops title.
Kill assists, are those logi specific or a general goal anyone can meet?

Yeah, kill assists are pretty easy for anyone, but most players, say, those running really good, strong guns, are gonna kill the poor Dustling they're shooting at. Logis would have an easier time getting an Assist because they're focused as a more Support role, right? That means they'd probably soften up the guy before someone just swoops in and takes the kill, no?

I'm certainly excited for the event. Logi and scout are my favorite roles. I'm worried I won't be able to take part, though. I haven't been able to so much as log in for days, now. For some reason I can't connect to PSN. It's becoming really frustrating.
