Minmatar have too long shield delays for hit-and-run, proposal; 5 sec recharge delay - 10 sec depleted delay.
For turrets use Minmatar AutoCannon and Amarr Heavy Laser Beam. Amarr are ranged, Minmatar are CQC hit-and-run like you said.
I see a bright future in these tanks' lives, but will they be new hull designs or reskins of existing models? They're more likely to be reskins.

Minmatar HAV should have great acceleration by comparison to other HAV but **** poor turning power whereas the Amarr HAV should more or less be the opposite in that it should be slow to accelerate but good at turning.
Frankly I still don't believe this will eventuate into anything and even then if it will be anything worth getting excited for.

however, the stats are based on an assumption of re-doing how vehicles work at a fundamental level. Breakin' might still have access to it...but I'll redo one with current statistics to allow for generation of statistics

Oh god, I'm so excited for this. I think I'm going to save the respec from this upcoming event and put all the SP from my old main into tanks when the time comes. I can't wait to have my very own mobile scrap heap.
It's happened once or twice someone couldn't pay the price, and I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals.

That being said, the Minmatar HAV has an unusual trait of having the ideal slot layout for a shield tank but less shield HP than armor. You could also choose to "Glass cannon the fit" and armor tank it because it sports an initial 1935 armor to play around with. Amarr HAV: Need the most help with this one. There's not much to say about this one. It's going to be a behemoth when it comes to soaking up damage. Even so much so that I don't want to add the Amarr tank into the game until we've looked at Hardeners but rest assured. The Amarr HAV will be a force to rekon with one way or the other.
Pipedream section. If we were to have Minmatar Artillery and AutoCannon turrets as well as Amarr Beam and Pulse Laser turrets what stats do you imagine having them as? In addition to that if you only had to choose one turret for each of the two listed races which one would you prefer? How about when blaster overheats for the amar it does damage to the vehicle

I cannot help here im not driver (most tanks/lavs what i drove in past were stolen XD), but i support this idea i would LOVE to see racial wehicles in dust (like any other kind of racial technology).
Oki Amarr should be slow and heavy with something like heavy laser, and some scramble lazors all that with badass armor. (Benefit for amarr tank maybe repairs? or less overheating of GoDLazOr cannon?!) (Negatives i thing slow as helvete is great option)
Minmatar hit and run with 50x50shield/armor like in lore, mobile artilery what hits hard and autocannons. (Benefit for minmatar range and blast radius for tower, speed) (Negatives not great in shields or armor, somthing like Oki but not great)

Exploding Weapons is a trait of the Amarr in Dust.Can't say my Small and medium Laser ever Exploded in Eve as I don't Overheat them in Eve(got to hit overheat button) where in dust you just shoot and your gun overheats and explodes. Sniping Amarr Tanks more damage farther out less damage up close. How about the Turrent should be like a forge gun when it gets to the top its overheat zone.Turrent fires when triger is released. Red zone damage greater but can explode and hurt HAV
Just give the Turrent a Mega Breach forge gun stats that stops the HAV to fire(this version no overheating) |
