Believe it or not there are a lot of things I enjoy about this game, and have fun with 2. I'm not getting a PS4, and my other PS3 shooters either bore me, or their communities have long since vanished 3. At 35m SP, I finally feel like I'm kinda-sorta starting to understand this game's nuances, and come into my own as a player 4. I've invested a bit of $$, and want to feel like it's been worthwhile 5. There is still so much left I've never done but want to try, like flying an ADS or fighting in PC 6. And WTF do you care, anyway?? You're playing other stuff now so good on you, mate... Maybe I'm missing the reason why if you feel the game is such a waste and yet here you are. why do I feel Dust 514 is a waste? hmmm well after all the silicon snakeoil pitches its just a lobby shooter with wasted potential also the fixes to problems are the same fixes that failed to fix the same problems from before like grenade spam, lag, stuck on terrain, falling past map, swarms, vehicles, etc. i.e. i got tired of the same problems over and over and instead played fun games like dragons dogma, kingdoms of amalour, ffx hd, planetside 2, the witcher 3, dragon age, and looking foreward to mad max, batman, fallout four, division, mgs v, etc

The OP seems to have troubles letting go so maybe that's not much of an option either? Nothing lasts forever, so enjoy what you can while it lasts. Why is it other games have Developers Workshop where the next items are posted then the build gets announced and playtested on PC then sent to PS3? is it that hard to run a single pc server to playtest new builds with 100 to 300 players? Moving aside few problems and bugs it's a unique game. Ps3 and small dev team doomed it but it's still fun. The other thing is social aspect. I know quite a few nice people. Modern society is lacking in empathy

I like the slower progression SP system (I didnt like the 190 000 SP weekly capacity, I greatly enjoy the game having a cap of approx 600 000 weekly SP). I also enjoy it because the EXP can be assigned to anything, instead of needing to perform certain actions to get EXP for a particular skill. I enjoy having a money system in a 1st person shooter I like having weapons with very extreme weaknesses and strengths like: the shotgun (5m range) the gallente scout skill 3 with 3 PRO damps = 14 db scan profile (I can also fit a adv cloak with shotgun and bolt P, low ISK cost 33k, it could still be cheaper if I chose) etc

This game doesn't have a future as it is now. The only reason I continue to hang around is because of the two characters I've created over the course of these few years. I don't get deep into the game because it is too stupid for that; I just fiddle around with it. However, I may be on my way out since I've got my fill of that and the gameplay is geting too predictable and spammy. Everything devolves into heavy and md spam now. 2nd question: I waste another minute here because it exists, I'm not a console player otherwise and there is no alternative with as much stuff that interests me. None of the other games have pulled me in like this one has, Ive played pretty much FPS' there is to play and have always lost interest after a while. Dust 514 has everything a true FPS player wants, you say that there are so many good games coming out, but is there really? The mainstream games maybe new but they havn't changed for ages. COD - Still the same Different killstreaks/maps but same crappy gamemodes, Also the playerbase is either Foreign or a 9 year old. HALO - Bleh Battlefield - Epic gameplay, but no interaction between players. Destiny - Such a lonely game Dust has everything i have asked for in a game, it is a massive shame that it has such big problems like: - Not enough players for proper PC - Frame-rate Problems But even with these problems i still insist that it is the best FPS. We have multiple youtubers working on the publicity of Dust, i have contacted multiple high subscriber count youtubers to spread the word of Dust. You can hate all you want but we dont want your negativity, you said it yourself that you havnt played dust in like a year, so frankly what are you doing here? I want Dust 514 to get successful so people like you can be like 'oh... i guess... it was good game' Like i said Dust 514 is the best game i have ever played.
