Because it has a present? They have to keep up appearances if they want people to keep forking over cash for AUR. Seems kind of obvious.

A game that can't even get client side updates isn't exactly on the fast track to success.

Maybe I used the wrong phrase. They can only do small stat shuffles, they can't actually add in real content. They stopped doing any real updates with FF 14, and it shows no sign of changing.

The game can't actually grow anymore. All they can do is cut corners and slide some stats around, occasionally putting out a skin from the paint bucket we were supposed to have years ago.


All you are is a sounding board. You can huff and puff all you want, it won't return the staff and budget to this game.

So we've had big content updates since FF 14, and the DUST team is back in full swing with a proper budget and dev team in place?

Sounds exciting! Never really given it a go, but with Gunjack coming out I think I may upgrade my phone, and now if DUST is ported to mobiles too I may as well! Hope that it'll get the Gunjack VR treatment too.
