Gallente assaults can triple tank.

As far as I know, Gallente ships are fast, armor tankers, and super reps.

Fit a Gallente assault with a Kincat, 2 ferroscale, and 2 reps, you have a beauty. All at proto, you get 23.25 reps, 8.07 speed, and 509 armor.

Especially, if you have properly maxed core skills. I had a shield tanking fit on the GalAssault that was reinforced with a pair of a heavy plate, or a pair of ferroscales. Just enough eHP performance from both shields and armor... PLUS retaining your mobility. I was using mine with a TacAR (the recoil control benefit REALLY helps), but if peeps prefer the RR nowadays, who am I to argue?

When the going gets rough, I usually pull it out since you can use those Reps very effectively with cover. The AR's large clip size helps immensely in mulitple engagement environments (Ive been running solo a lot so its a little rough). If it gets stupid on a long range map, sure I will throw the ARR on for some added range, but the CalMando works better in the end. That LP CalMando with all Krins Damage.... Ouch. I put a Prec Enhance and Adv Scanner since I run solo so much. Makes a huge difference in awareness. I prefer the Scrambler Pistol as the sidearm though. You get some nasty head shots with that thing pretty easily.
