I'm looking for decent fits to try out for Gal Scouts. I currently have two, one for speed hacking and one for just straight up speed running with uplinks.
I'm not using the suit to its full potential and I want to know some fits out there that can help me out.
Any suggestions?

The Gallente scout gets a bonus to scan precision. What is the purpose of that complex precision in the high? Is it easier to fit than a light damage mod?
Everything else about the fit makes sense to me besides that.

Lower scan prescision to pick up other, undampened, scouts or assaults.

0 Precision (dB): 16 / 32 / 42 1 Precision (dB): 13 / 26 / 34
1 Precision enables the GalScout to detect undampened Assaults (41dB) in their outer ring and single damp'd assaults (30dB) in their middle ring. As for damage amps, in far more cases than not, one Complex Damage Amp will not affect Shotgun TTK.
Edit: Variations ...
For general purpose shotgunning, I'd recommend 1x Shield Extender, 1x Precision (above). If hunting Scouts in a "city" environment with ample cover, I'd recommend 2x Precision. If cover is sparse or you find yourself in need of a little more buffer, I'd lose the precision in favor of running 2 shield extenders.

As for damage amps, I've recommended a shotgun over a rifle, and in far more cases than not, 1 Complex Damage Amp will not affect Shotgun TTK. Thanks for the education/explanation. Suppose the scout was using a rail or combat rifle instead of the shotgun; would you still recommend the same choices for the high slots?

It does??? Only 1 complex damp makes sense to you?
The above fit can be scanned whilst cloaked. So as a Gal gk.0 its pretty much a fail fit against anything but noobs.

A GalScout or CalScout (uncloaked) running 1 complex dampener has a scan profile of 20dB. This is sufficiently low to beat all active scans except for Duvolle Focused Scans. These aren't particularly common, but I'll concede that they also aren't rare. If you find yourself getting scanned with 1 dampener, then yes (by all means) add another. But to start with 2 is a potential waste of utility.

Oh Hai! You might not have seen me, because I'm a scout. jk.
Based on your original request, and taking into consideration the discussion above, you may want to consider:
High:
Complex Shield Extender Complex Precision Enhancer
Low:
Complex Profile Dampener Complex Kinetic Catalyzer Complex Cardiac Regulator Complex Ferroscale Plates
Weapons:
Duvolle Tactical Assault Rifle OR Kaalikiota Tactical Sniper Rifle Your sidearm of choice Your Grenade of choice
Equipment:
Cloaky < whatever you can fit after the other stuff Uplinks < based on your original request
---
Why oh why do I include the Cardiac Regulator where everyone else mentions the 2x kincats? because you want to drop uplinks and it didn't sound like you favored the shotgun. This module will allow you to run wide flanking circles (sprint for double the amount of time) and set up shots with those marksman weapons, and cover the approach of the infantry spawning on your uplinks, until you decide to move and start the process over again. The HP modules will get you around 400 ehp, and you are very competitive in terms of eWar, and you have really nice mobility. If you fit a Six Kin SMG, you'll find that you can do really well in CQC too!
best of luck! it's my favorite suit

Actually, even though most people don't utilize cardiac regs on fits, I find them to be extremely beneficial especially when it comes to stamina regen.
Thank you for the explanation as far as uplink dropping, but I have a separate scout fit for that. I'm kind of just looking for a slaying scout maybe with either a shotgun or Ar. Haven't decided yet.

As an opener for a fast hack, use an ADV scout with 3 comp kin cats and 1 comp card reg costs a quarter of the price of a proto scout. |

That is very similar to my current fitting except I use a 2 kin cats, 1 cardiac reg, and 1 codebreaker. Stacking a kincat to three seems like a huge PG/CPU loss for a small sprint speed gain. Just my opinion, of course.

I used to think the same thing and gave it a shot.
on the larger maps, the time saved to the first objective compared to the time saved by the code breaker is actually quiet wide. I find on the large maps the 3 x Kincats gets the objective hacked first 90% of the time without nary a person bothering me. That is with dropping links along the way. I carry a basic flaylock as a sidearm so I can clear equipment after without having to stop moving.
On the smaller maps, I use 2xKinCats and Codebreaker.
For my fun fit 2xKrins in the high, 2x Pro Damps, 2 x Pro KinCats, Shotty and tty5 Breach Pistol. Makes for some fun Leroy Jenkins moments. My cloak usage depends on what I am trying to do.

A Proto GalScout with 3x kincats, 1x cardiac reg sprints at 10.73m/sec with 441 max stamina.
All modules are complex in the above scenarios. All data provided by protofits.
So yeah, I could absolutely see the second or two a codebreaker shaves off a hack being less than the sprint speed / sprint distance offered by the suggested fittings. Plus, a codebreaker doesn't offer a bit of survivability but mobility does.
Good advice all around. Much appreciated.

If you have any skills into plcs and are looking for something different, I have a lot of fun on my gko tank killer scout. I use proto kin cat, cardiac reg, cmplx damp and dmg mod/ precision enhancer in the highs. Kubos plc is the best but any plc will do. Add packed lai dai nades and a proto cloak. Works great for sneaking up on a tank. I drop the shields with a plc shot, and the packed lai dais will finish him off, using the kubos, if he does manage to get away you got another round ready to fire as he runs.

Please, stop requesting Caldari Tech on a Gallente Scout.
By no means, should a Galscout have any shields, needles, hives.
High: DMG amp, precision Low: Kincats, damps Primary: Shotgun Secondary: SMG or Knives - don't judge the nk + shotty combo unless you have actually tried it. I am good with the combo, as is raven, most people just don't know how to sneak. If you suck at it, go SMG. Grenade: Flux Equipment: Uplink, Cloak, RE or Scanner

I agree. I tend to not comment too much because "to each is own" and all that but honestly imo Caldari tech really does have no place on Gal stuff. (aside from needs and hives for logis and ofc hives on my assault)
Dual tanking is not something I've ever been a fan of especially because the movement penalties in EvE.
Also, yes Shotty/NK combo is badass if you can properly sneak
