You can get either a pistol or a TANK out of one of those tuna cans. Is the encrypted strongbox the biggest troll to date? If its as big as a tank how does it hold nearly 9 greyscale lavs? If its big enough to hold a TANK who would use it to transport ONE FUDGING SHOTGUN?
Im so curious now. Please give us an answer ccp. Is it some kind of matter compression doohicky? Magic?

Bloody nanos. They cant make em construct a anime figurine thats actaully a live grenade(so i can kill you with kawaii) because they told me it was a waste of nanos.
But even nanos would have trouble with construcing a tank with a limited supply. You cant make something out of nothing. Needs some base matter to use. So how big would a box be really?

Officer gear has a license? Lemme just figure out how the experimental lab use warbarge components to make some licenses(maybe its like a credit card?) for equipment you cant buy on the market.

Lemme just get my photocopier and start copying licenses then. Its not illegal. Because techincally thats a bpo. A machine that spits out unlimited licenses for the object in question.

Alright, a few things: Everything that came about after Rattati took helm probably has 0 consideration for previous lore. I doubt he thought out the way strongboxes and warbarge generation fits within the previously established lore. As such, this is sketchy territory and it's our job to fill in the blanks using what we know.
Now that we got that cleared out of the way, I'll try to explain.
A license could be something like a data core from EVE. It's a physical object that contains an immense amount of information. You can't simply copy them, you need the original to create copies, an original that we don't have. Which is explains why you can't simply "download" a suit (YOU WOULDN'T DOWNLOAD A HAV - PIRACY, IT'S A CRIME), as that suit is "inside" a data core that needs to be interpreted by a computer that instructs nanites how to construct it.

So all i needs to do is grab a data core and delete whats in it(probaly a milita suit) Then run it through some equipment and imprint a peice of officer gear to it. Then run that through a another set of equipment that makes duplicates of the input item. Make sure the gear js in all of them and bam. I just made a bpo.

I still call the matter doohicky device as the way it works. The boxes have some matter and nantites. Then the fancy license shows the blueprint to the nanites(incorprating that idead) and pow. You get an item. But i wanna know is HOW BIG IS THE BOX? Because making a tank out of matter means you need alot of matter and assuming that the boxes seem to be a set size you could have a huge box with enough matter for a scrambler pistol. Or you could get a tiny box that spits out 9lavs and squishes you when you open it. And lemme keep the key ay least. Why is ccp pulling a valve move. What does the key just explode or something?
