It just seems... utterly useless.
Did anyone figure out a use for it?

From my experience the blast radius is so tiny, they would literally have to be on top of each other.

If you get 8 of those. Tap X as fast as you can and you can call 8 at once = :D
I use those to get rid of those ******* uplinks and even tanks and dropships.
PC = You guys have no brains in Uplinks and I bet 99% of logistics pro players = do nothing but spam those uplinks = really even I can place better and not spam.

they ARE good for those pesty uplinks on rooftops and silos. but they are so crappy that people usually just forget and ignore them. though the loners can get a cheap thrill from actually getting the chance to call an orbital. |

Minor flux strikes are worthless. They don't even do enough damage to pop higher tier links.

when i am solo, in my assault and about to storm through a room of opponents...drop one on the room then storm in and clear the room.
i do it quite a lot especially with my solo playstyle

Funny thing is, in the first few seconds, you can't tell if it's a small strike or a large strike, so you run the **** away either way.
So it does sometimes scare me, in the rare occasion somebody uses it lol

Hmm? I forgot they exist.
I guess after they continuously failed to even hit the area I ordered it on I stopped using them and forgot they existed.
Although within their first week I got a +75 from accidentally hitting a shield tank that passed by.

lol,what?Drop it on a shield tank and see what happens.You get 75wp if you lucky then 150wp for damaging his shields.So the strike is more effective then a flux nade.That's a fact.

Yeah, I guess if the tanker is deaf he won't roll forward the 10m it takes to completely avoid the strike. You can get lucky by guessing which direction he is going to flee in, and drop the strike 10 m ahead or behind him, but honestly, that's not worth 300 wp or the time it takes to call a strike.

Its fun to troll people on the roof with it if it is late enough in the match that they believe it.
Sometimes (and I really mean sometimes) you will get lucky and take out an uplink that you aimed at. |

This strike does like no damage most of the time.
I saw them striking right into an uplink, nothing happen.
It's just broken/not working (not always).
Lately i didn't see anyone who would use it.

The problem is the fact that you select a full strike zone as if you were dropping a normal OB yet it drops in some random location within that circle making it impossible to use it to do anything but thin out some serious uplink spam (but not wipe it out). |

Some links have more hp than the strike does damage.

Same with me. I see the targeting lasers circle with the dreaded sound in an open area I immediately go "FUUUUUU!! oh wait never mind it is just a small one, they don't count".

The mini flux is so much like a wet f4rt, that I use it as a sign of disrespect for the enemy...Kinda like cupping your hand and waving it in their faces...'have that'
