Caldari logistic low CPU amount is a relic from the summer 2013. During late chromosome when new suit stats were released it was pretty obvious that caldari logi was a powerhouse allround winning suit with high pg/cpu and NINE fitting slots (more than others).
Despite some specualtions of it's power, Uprising was released as is. The result: bumblebees everywhere, the slayer logi term was born. Remember, this was the time when armor tanking was weak and shield tanking was king.
and the fix, during summer-autumn 2013: reduce the CPU amount to nerf the full proto slay fitting ability. My assessment was that it didn't matter that much as I was willing to fit a cpu mod, and I personally did go on cald logi for a long time as did some others.
But that is the origins of Cald logi having lower cpu and it has for some reason persisted through full logi skill rework. Even while armor tanking became the winner's choice.
Looking at both sides of the coin.
Even Aurum one.

Whilst logi bonuses were updated, the suits have remained the same since the time you mentioned. An update is sorely needed. |

The cal logi needs a CPU buff. It's still being judged guilty for its slayer-logi sins of the past, IMO. It's time to make the suit viable again. |

In EVE you have ships that in a way, serve as a Command platform just to make things simple for those that dont play EVE. These ships can be equipped with things called Warfare Links.
These modules provide specific bonuses to a fleet or wing that add to the combat or mining, etc. effectiveness of all fleet.
Translate this to DUST terms and its pretty much a module that enhances your abilities in certain areas. Scan Range, Accuracy Rating, repair Rate, shield Regen Rate, Dampening etc.As long as it makes sense we could have it as a warfare link module.
In my crazy ideal world Logistics would be a support platform with its current ways of equipment as well as by Warfare Link slots for modules.
Warfare Links slots would be an ordinary slot that a regular module could go into as well as a Warfare Link. You have to substitute personal defense for squad support.
These links are primarily for Logistics Class and the other suits would not have access to them. Even with the Logistics you can only fit a certain number of them at one time for fairness sake. Lets say, 2 at STD, 3 ADV, 4PRO for baseline stats. Give Commandos one slot for Warfare links as well because, well I like that idea . Can't explain gotta head in for work.
Anywho, id give scours ewar abilities back within normal limits and give Logis a great overhaul to do something that is completelybenificial to the game that can't be supplemented by a squad running coordinated equipment.
Anywho, peace guys. o7

I would be ideal, but we have to work within certain boundaries, unfortunately.

I never realised the CPU was as low as 350 now. Even with core skills maxed thats near impossible to fit out without a Complex CPU Upgrade. Glad I didnt spec back into it. And yes the Compact Hive changes were stupid.
These Logi changes cant come sooner.

Yeah... Can't really "shield tank" with 459 maximum CPU.
The compact hive changes were for a reason, but it's the CPU modules that get me.
