We need this back. It isn't trivial. The map has not been the same, it's spires and hills and mountains. Gone. It's luscious beauty. Gone. We need this beauty back.

Tweak the redline a little (so the mountain isn't abused again), and domination will play out COMPLETELY differently there.

Jesus hills is just fine as it is. That last thing we need is a bunch of QQ kittens on the hills with weapons that won't reach the ground.
Granted it has its own problems as it is, the northern red line cuts the corner so you cannot go up the hill from the Charlie position in Dom. Of course, that fact that a Maddy cannot turn to saves its butt doesn't make the situation any better.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

In case you've forgotten, only 1 team had reasonable access to the mountain. Especially with the redline tigher than ever, the entire pass up the mountain, along with the peak, would only be available to 1 team, not just the trail leading to the pass to the peak like it was originally, which would still be imbalanced.
Not to mention that if both teams COULD reasonably access the peak, the spawn closest to it would be completely exposed to sniper fire.

Back in the time of the great war, before the uprising, this was my favorite map. Balance be damned! Blue rock Obelisks jutting from the ground like a maw of daggers in that forsaken and barren terrain. It was a beautiful and engaging map. It's 'unbalanced' nature is exactly what made it so fun. There was variety in every battle and the dark world fit the mood of the game perfectly.

Speaking of which, I haven't played in that map for who knows how long.
It's mostly the same 4 maps: Train, Ashlands, Gallente Research, Biomass Facility. All in this order of frequency. |
