Frame rate is actually good, and it feels like "WOOOOOOOOOOWWW" to see things moving so fluidly.
There is no annoying lag when scrolling through fits in the beginning of the battle.
SERIOUSLY. Solid frame rate in Dust is now a reality . . . at least for me

What about those who get to spawn in behind everyone else? Is that fixed?
There's always 3 guys who get to spawn in before me even if I mash deployment button before the map loads.

The day before the update, I took pictures of all the Hatemail I got xD
Now that all my mails are gone = the frame rate has been very good. No lag = Great.

Fighting the lag monster and winning has always been the greatest of wins in Dust. I am re-down loading to find out, just got a bump to 60 mbs and have put a lap top cooling fan under the pos, uh PS3. I want to know. Actually I want a fiber line to Tranquility. Hook me up Rattati.

Still had a ton of lag playing on the Gallente research facility.
Other than that, it seems to be better.

Hmm, DUST felt way smoother in the MQ.
Didn't actually play a match so I'll remain cautioslly optimistic about the results.

Really? Yesterday the game ran slower than before for me. Specifically the U.I. in the merc quarters. In game was, as usual, just below 30 FPs. I had never deleted a single mail before, so i was a bit surprised at the loss of performance. Or maybe it was the server trying to deal with a couple thousand download at once?
Hmm. Will be checking later to see if its a consistant issue.

I've noticed little to no difference in battle, save for one brief moment where the framerate shot up to 60+ for a split second and then went back to being jerky as hell.
You guys are like a broken record with this "CPM material" business xD Let it go

It mi be good for you. For me it is worse thank ever. I m tired of losing against players that are not as good as me only because I can barely see them. Asap I ll buy a PS4 to play ps2. I love this game but the I cant stand this lag Any longer.

I noticed immediately after the first game, I spawn in right as the timer gets to zero. That made me happy lol. In the past it would count down and I would just be staring at the screen.
I don't always win 1v1, but when I don't...I cry for nerfs. Stay nerfing my friends.

By and large, I have not had the horrific frame rate issues most other players report in the past.
HOWEVER. 1.1 Frame rate was noticeably smoother, to the point where my old reflexes are slightly thrown off and I'm having to re-adjust to the new battle tempo.
This is an adjustment I am happy to make. Please tell your team good work. This is an improvement that pretty much trumps everything else so far, both good and mediocre. (I have yet to see anything I would classify as "bad" in this update)

I got no mail, few contacts and only 3 or so custom channels... and I still get very low framerate... most of the time below 20, occasionally rising above 20 for a second or two and then getting back down, and sometimes it's below 10 or even somewhere near 1 or even below that.
I could upload a video of a full match to prove it.

I find that incredibly hard to believe, maybe the same, but not certainly not worse.

I question the veracity of statements like that unless that person's internet modem or PS3 is starting to go out given the increase in FPS I've experienced.

Do you mean pub matches or PC? Pubs were fine yesterday, though I rarely suffer frame rate problems in pubs.
I know many in our corp, including me, were suffering paralysing frame rate drops in PC yesterday. But this isn't a new issue, just didn't seem any better than before.
If anyone has any tips for reducing PC frame rate drop it would be greatly appreciated. |

What are you talking about? When I last time played PC (that was months upon months ago) it was running quite smooth except for the lag obviously, but framerate was more than fine in that. However pubs have never run any good for me, my framerate is horrible in pubs.
After coming back from 60 fps games I find myself unable to aim or do anything efficiently in Dust.
Still love Dust though.

Nothing changed. I play on EU server mostly and haven't noticed any good changes in perfomance. When trying US server...man, it's too laggy. |

Pagliu is one of the few italian guys I know that has a stable and good Fiber connection. Maybe the problem is his ps3, but can't really say...
Overall framerate looks smoother to me, although it still randomly drops in certain matches for unknown reasons. It is better imo, not the smoothest framerate I've ever seen, but a good step forward. Now that we're at a good point, why don't we talk about a next-gen jump instead, uh Ratman?
