Day 20 - Knifing Apathy

Today was one of those really generic days where nothing of particular note happened. I played a few matches, killed a few guys, died a few times, same old, same old... What?

I need something to spice my knifing up. Maybe it's just getting boring because I've been exclusively running my Minja for 20 days now... I keep fantasising about charging up a SCR again... What can I do to get excited about stabbing dudes again?

I know the answer, really: I need to run something else. Running only one suit when I have access to many makes the game monotonous. Regardless, I have promised myself and others that I will see this marathon through to the end, and I have no intention of going back in my word. I also promised 100M ISK to whoever spots me using my Assaults during this period. Since I spent about 70M on Officer gear already, I'm not particularly keen on losing much more ISK. What?

The game's I've been playing have been boring and slow. I haven't had a high kill-count match in quite a few days. The last one I had, I went 30/1. Now THAT was fun. I haven't broken 20 kills in what feels like forever.

I think I've been too obsessed with my K/D for too long, and this may what's restricting me from having fun, or really letting loose. Now that I'm getting more involved in PC, I need to realise that K/D is meaningless. Truth be told, I do know this. When I'm actually playing though, I can't help but get hung up about it.

What can I do to spark my interest in knifing again? Help me out, guys. Sad

Stay tuned... o7 Just have fun again... When was the last time you ran a lol fit? Remember the MD NK fit I told you about? It's not the greatest but it's fun. I still knife 90% of my kills but I irritate and laugh at a lot reds too... I do believe your marathon requires min scout and NK right? Change it up man.... I never was a cloak guy, just didn't fit my style. And I speed tank so the cloak doesn't really fit with kincats and shields. They are two totally different play styles though... I think speed tankers die more though, especially the ultra aggressive ones like me Dust 514, the BEST WORST game you can't stop playing.
