I don't get the K/D you do, I'm very aggressive and almost suicidal sometimes. What I love about the minja is that in the right hands it can clear a room full of logis and heavies in style, unlike REs and SGs, but with one mistake your dead. The bane of my existence is the ScR though. I would rather take on two prenerf HMGs then one amarrASS with a ScR Dust 514, the BEST WORST game you can't stop playing.

And I'm crazy enough to rush the point in a Dom swarming with reds hacking my way towards the speed hack which sometimes Leads to epic kill streaks and others to epic death streaks... I tend to be very aggressive... I also seem to spit a red, stalk up behind him, only to have him turn around at the last minute or have is friend come around the corner, either way it doesn't end good... I usually end up with 1.5-2.5 K/D That is if I'm not having my, I don't give a ****, Nomad APEX spam in the face of a stomp going like 15-18 "Hello proto stomper squad" -tosses REs- Dust 514, the BEST WORST game you can't stop playing.

It's interesting to see the game put into writing as it plays out, was expecting something more lore oriented but was surprised (in a good way) to find that it was more of a narration of a game. I'd say forge on with it, if you enjoy the writing at least! Maybe start writing full descriptions of the battles you went through even! So much blood was spilled by my knives. There isn't a much better feeling than seeing multiple unbroken Knife kills in the killfeed. Many 'splosions, many stabs, many pew pews. I ended up going 19/4 - the best K/D on the team. I was feeling particularly ballsy, so I decided to run my Officer Minja fit, with a Luis' CR and Nothi's Knives. Unfortunately, I was concentrating so hard on not dying that we lost the match by a hair. And yes, I did lose my Officers when I ran straight into a Minmando, thinking it was a Caldari Light Frame that had just ran around a corner. The Knives are very nice. The charge-up time is basically non-existent, and the movement speed increase whilst charging the Knives is mild but noticeable. The extra damage isn't as noticeable as one might think though, because there aren't many things the Ishukone Nova Knives don't OHK anyway. Irritatingly, I entered a Skirm with a full squad where our team's MCC only had about half-armour left, whilst the enemys' was still on about half-shields. But, oh, what a close match! Our squad fought hard, and we managed to capture all the Null Cannons. The match ended in a victory, despite our MCC not even having a single tick left! I had to dry my hands on a towel from all the sweat that had accumulated whilst trying to win that match! I feel so special I made into dries' blog I went like 23-10 that match despite the terrible lag. Must have knifed at lest 7-8 ghosts that round. Dust 514, the BEST WORST game you can't stop playing.

Horizons edge just got back into it and I have only had the chance to run them a little. I have done pretty good overall but the other night I had a terrible time. What's your go to PC fit? Do you knife with cloaks often? I usually run 3 extenders, a damp, and two complex kincats with proto ACR and NK and a scanner. (No cloak) I'm pretty sure I was getting scanned passively the other night and didn't think to pull out my double damped fit. -smacks forehead- I also favor city sockets over outer objectives which if I remember correctly is opposite of you... Thinking the cloak prolly has to do with that.?.? I feel that since my knifing duel victory vs Dreis on day 7 or 8, I am qualified to give my personal perspective. I do use cloaks often, but am not sure how effective they are. Some games they are effective, others not so much. Your fit looks really good, I find that a complex Myo really helps with extra mobility, so maybe try that out. And its good you have a double dampened fit to accompany your other one. I have honestly even just forgone having less than 2 unless its on a hacking specialized suit, but this is highly subjective and depends on play style. With city sockets, you are maximizing cover that is available for use, while playing outside you are vulnerable to being spotted and easily taken out at range even while cloaked. My kincats are a double edge sword. One side it allows me to move throughout the socket and respond to vulnerabilities in the enemy lines and seek cover, as well as being a must for knives... But in the city socket I believe a cal scout can still get a large enough scan range and precision to be a problem forcing damps... The de look delay kills me! Hardly used it before, but now... When I sprinted I felt like I was still walking almost... But everyone else seemed to be moving normal... Thinking it may have been my PS3 getting hot maybe and not processing fast enough and instead of lower framerates it just slowed the game down??? I don't know. Guess I could've pulled out my MinASS and tried to shoot my way in, but I saw that ending in me getting flanked by superior numbers... Went 11-10-10 and 5th or 6th place No shotgun minASS and my team had the upper hand in the city, which I have seen makes a huge difference in my performance. Guess I'm a team multiplier and therefore need a solid squad pushing to have an effect. I would love to pair up with you in a PC or even better if you got a capture card.... I never was a cloak guy, just didn't fit my style. And I speed tank so the cloak doesn't really fit with kincats and shields. They are two totally different play styles though... Personal knifing best today, I think: 24/3 23 of those kills were with knife FYI, half of them were in an amarr A/1 scout, and the other half were in a Cal 'Hawk' Scout BPO. you need proto suits to get your scores? This shouldnt be an either/or thing my best game, posted above, was when I did BOTH. 2-3 kincats.. and then I paid more attention to where they were. Let my team be the cannon fodder, and then just ran around back n started mowing them down. ironically though, my best killstreak was when I was solo, first to the point. I dropped an uplink, hacked the point.. then got killed or something. but then I came right back... and proceeded to mow down the squad that came to take the point :D two were in the thingie hacking. two were guarding. I ran up to the stupidfacing outside one. slash. ran up to the other outside one. slash. Ran in and used a charged slash to take out both the two hacking it. Then played ring-around-the-rosy for the last guy who was late to the party. 5 in a row, solo, with no cannon fodder blueberries for distraction. hurray for poor lines of sight Many times I see guys standing there like, "There a squad down there, I need help" Or "There's a heavy down there" I run right past them to raptor the heavy or hack a away at the squad... Guess I'm the cannon fodder, lol FYI I wasn't referring primarily to the cloak or kincats but rather to the cautious approach vrs the run in guns a blazing approach. I don't run with a mic either, but I know the flow of the battles and how to watch the kill feed and what's getting hacked to predict what's going to happen and where to push. I can coordinate just fine listening in to squad comes and even in PC my SL and FC know I'm listening and if I don't follow through with orders immediately it's for a damn good reason and I will be there as soon as I can. The only down fall is that I can't call out enemy movements and or ask for help, but that is easily negated by a competent leader... I've run with dreis plenty with none of use on coms and with a good team we all coordinate pretty well, or at least pretty good for this being a VIDEO GAME LOL Dust 514, the BEST WORST game you can't stop playing.
