As much as I love his game "and it is my #1 favorite" I could never see myself getting a PC to continue playing it.. 
I quit eve online and left my 08 character never to return when my old PC Died =ƒÿö |

your point? just because you wont doesn't mean anything for CCP. if they do legion they do it, if not they don't/ its not up to you...... |

I agree 100%. You absolutely should not buy a PC to keep playing DUST.
You should however, buy a PC to play Star Citizen
Contests, Sales, Writing etc

Arena Commander is live and Star Marine will be this month, plenty of activity from them :) If I believed DUST could be good, I can certainly believe Star Citizen will be good

I really don't want to buy a PS4 to keep playing Dust. Though I will if that happens. Oddly, our community being made up of EVE players and MAG players primarily means our playerbase is like half and half in favor of each possible future platform. The CPM are divided on it even. Both would be excellent, but either/or would make a lot of people happy.

It seems to me, what with both PS4 and PC having x86 architecture (something that I gather from conversation and not something I am intimately aware of myself), that it would be most appropriate to develop for the PC, then to port from PC to PS4.
I think that option would bring in the greatest number of people. Not to mention revenue, and continued development on both platforms.

Why do you people play? Ccp is ripping you off. The aurum is a scam. The game fails so hard less than 30k people round the world play it. Its like world at war cod after modern warfare got popular. Even black ops is more popular than dust. Destiny is too. Dust is a last years garbage game. Its a throw away game because of how unbalanced it is. Screw legion it can suck it. Dust is the most failed game iv ever played.

more like 1-2k dust players left, those 20-40k are eve players. |

Except the original player base was far from a 50/50 EVE\console players. There were much more console players. Also, the original Dust statement was "bring EVE universe to a new crowd" aka console players.
No wonder it balanced itself after the red conference in which console players, who pretty much funded the game almost entirely, felt like being stabbed in the back.
This debate is both stupid and irrelevant. PS4 should have been a no brainer day one they decided to develop on a console. That's for the stupid part. The irrelevant part is that this game is too far gone to be simply ported. It's either start from scratch or port and die versus a way too good competition.
