Whats the lowest profile you can get with a dampened medium suit?
1 x Basic dampner=?
1 x Enhanced Dampner=?
1 x Complex Dampner =?
I like to know if an Enhanced active scanner is worth it

My cloak assault gets 34 dB with enhanced damp @ lvl 3

You know, it's funny the game doesn't even explain how scan precision vs profile works! My friend asked me the other day and I said, uuhh, i dunno all i know is you want a smaller profile, but I don't have a clue what it means if you have a lower profile then they have percision. Are you 100% invisible? And what about if you have more? Does it lower the range they see you from, how does it all work I've no clue. |

A proto damp gets me to 30. (undampened I am 41db)
2 PRO damps gets me to 24
3 PRO damps gets me to 20
4 gets me to 16 - 19db etc
I use scouts if I want anything like 24db |

I run three complex dampeners for my PC and public contracts. Your profile should be under 21, which will be enough to get you under proto scans (even Gal Logi) except the[ b]focused[/b]
Public matches:
There is really only one player who consistently runs the focused in public matches (His name will not be mentioned). Therefore, you literally immune to active scans.
PC:
A good PC team should at least have a player running a focused. However, the focus has a short time frame and a long cool down. Thus, you can work with it unlike other lasting scans.
I really do suggest any serious assault player to dampen up. It allows you to better pick your battles and flanking becomes a realistic option.
On that note, I think sacrificing three low slots to counter one piece of equipment is absurd. Two was the standard before the Gal Logi bonus came into play.

Level 3 Active Scanner gets you all 3 variants of scanner so if your a logi its great and if you have an assault with some extra space they are good to.
You could also fit Precision Enhancers if you have armour suits.

Ok, there isn't much extra space on an M-1 but if you get the M/1 Series fit an advanced scanner. For that suit and its style don't use the Quantum cause it recharges to slow, use the others for shorter but faster scans.
