The actual PvP conflicts that can happen, sometimes on massive scales of hundreds of players divided in two going at it trying to support, tank, and dps, lead to some epic conflicts no other game will give you, but that's not even what makes the game great. The massive economy that EvE revolves around is so important that battles have MEANING. Major losses can cripple one side and leave them defenseless, or hitting the right ship transporting enemy goods, and you could of gotten that info through many layers of espionage and diplomacy. There's so much to look at, that when conflict does happen it is all the more appealing and amazing. And the fact the conflict themselves can effect markets for everyone and change the progression the players take in the game is amazing. EvE is staggering in it's potential to continue to grow and be something mind-blowing, even without Dust. Imagined if Dust had worked out? Yea game gets old when its like that. If people had more respect for the newer players and ran lesser gear I wouldnt mind so much. I hate stomping on newbs its so boring I ended up playing cod again. Then when I get stomped I leave battle. Dust just by itself is getting so old im looking for something new. I've played eve for a month or so, didnt much like it. It was interesting but also boring.

To think otherwise is to never actually gone far enough down the rabbit hole to find out.L5s, sleepers, sansha, all will wreck your ** if not paying attention. Again fine if you don't like that, I'm just highly skeptical you found hard mode before writing it off. To each there own tho. How hard something is does not make it anymore or less fun. What makes pve fun is the story lines, eve has no story lines you just go out and kill . That's not pve that's just randomly grinding **. WHY would you ever think that going out and finding random AI targets to shoot at, pve. That's not pve that's just AI simulated opponents.
