The actual PvP conflicts that can happen, sometimes on massive scales of hundreds of players divided in two going at it trying to support, tank, and dps, lead to some epic conflicts no other game will give you, but that's not even what makes the game great. The massive economy that EvE revolves around is so important that battles have MEANING. Major losses can cripple one side and leave them defenseless, or hitting the right ship transporting enemy goods, and you could of gotten that info through many layers of espionage and diplomacy. There's so much to look at, that when conflict does happen it is all the more appealing and amazing. And the fact the conflict themselves can effect markets for everyone and change the progression the players take in the game is amazing. EvE is staggering in it's potential to continue to grow and be something mind-blowing, even without Dust. Imagined if Dust had worked out?
