Eve sucks.
PvP sucks cause it's too slow, by the time you can run around equip a ship go find a fight , you could've killed 50-100 clones in a game like dust or cod. I don't want to go through that much effort to from login till fight. Then if you die? You do it all over again! BORING.
PvE sucks, cause... well there's no pve to speak of. So no point in mentioning it.

While I don't personally like EvE after several attempts at playing it, there is fun to be had.

The actual PvP conflicts that can happen, sometimes on massive scales of hundreds of players divided in two going at it trying to support, tank, and dps, lead to some epic conflicts no other game will give you, but that's not even what makes the game great.

The massive economy that EvE revolves around is so important that battles have MEANING. Major losses can cripple one side and leave them defenseless, or hitting the right ship transporting enemy goods, and you could of gotten that info through many layers of espionage and diplomacy.

There's so much to look at, that when conflict does happen it is all the more appealing and amazing. And the fact the conflict themselves can effect markets for everyone and change the progression the players take in the game is amazing.

EvE is staggering in it's potential to continue to grow and be something mind-blowing, even without Dust.

Imagined if Dust had worked out? There's a reason a lot of us cried so hard when fanfest 2014 happened :(

I'm playing less and less myself. I seem to get only stomps lately. Either blue stomps or red.

I never knew Eve was so dumb that it has the most stable economy of all MMO games, draws the attention of real-world NASA-affiliated experts* (as evidenced by the schedule for Fanfest 2015), has its own player-elected CSM which is far more established than Dust's CPM, has become the talk of various academia in regards to social experiments, and even has its own physical monument literally on the top of the world. I never knew Eve was that dumb.

eve's pve WILL FUCCK you UP. To think otherwise is to never actually gone far enough down the rabbit hole to find out.L5s, sleepers, sansha, all will wreck your **** if not paying attention.
Again fine if you don't like that, I'm just highly skeptical you found hard mode before writing it off.
