ThePlayerkyle13 The Unholy Legion Of DarkStar DARKSTAR ARMY 187	Posted - 2015.03.07 15:17:00 - [1] - Quote This is self explanatory, just when you know you can't win a match the quickest way to end it is by surrendering, i'm pretty sure most of you that played match half way through and realised that at this rate you've lost and you want to end the match quickly, i've experienced this situation and at times i'm like "There's no point playing, considering we've lost anyway". If any of you played LoL (League of Legends) you know what i mean as their is a similar system in place to allow the team to Surrender just to end the match quickly, it's a neat system i think, considering this is a Military Shooter soldiers & mercenaries tend to surrender to the enemy. Thoughts?

Not in that sense, when someone use the term "Rage Quit" it means someone blindly left the game, "Surrendering" is calmly giving yourself up. See the difference?

Even if you Surrender, you'll be retreating from the battlefield, you may not get captured but if you did, just shoot yourself, we're clones... This feature is just so that battles aren't needlessly long when in situations where you're losing, that way people won't have to wait next 5 - 10 minutes just so the MCC could blow up. Plus keep rolling your eyes like that make you look like a douchebag.

This would end o esided matches and getting put in lost battles while people would get their sp and the winner would get normal isk payout. The losers wouldn't get payed because they broke their contract. It an elegant way to put an end to redlining.

Better than to suffer the rest of the match waiting for the allied MCC to blow up. Just allow a squad leader (or platoon leader if platoons are added) to ask the team to vote for surrender.

The Whole team would vote & it'll be like this: 5/16 voted Surrender = Vote Failed 16/16 Voted Surrender = Vote Succeed If 1 Person doesn't vote or voted "No" then the vote fails, if everyone voted yes then the match will end. But this is an Idea, i suppose others would improve this system better than I...

Also, the match should never be about victory but about isk. Winning a match is less important than causing more monetary loss to the other team. Everyone is immortal, battles can go on forever, all that is left is the side that still has a penny to it's name. I really wish Dust514 would refocus and actually be a part of New Eden where isk governs everything. This would solve many issues, but the game needs to be designed in a way that honors isk efficiency. Reward players that make the other side lose the most ISK. Know what cannot be known.
