I've been using the Assault Scrambler Rifle ever since its debut in Uprising.
If I used to slay with it before, I do not know what will happen once the buff comes

Start engagement with AScR, and switch before overheat to MD as finisher... works most of the time like a charm... |

My adv caldari sentinel will out regen you at range and kill you slowly as you try to advance.
My armor tanked amarr sentinel is ready to mow you down with a magsec SMG then finish you off with a HMG when you come out of cover again.(my high health makes up for less DPS on magsec, but its like a mini armor AR)
My shotgun stealth std amarr assault will slay you when you come around the corner (32 scan db and 30 scan profile db and 608 armor lol) (Although I do have proto suits.)
Im ready to show you that the ASCR can be beaten (even if it becomes FOTM because of its stats and user friendly handling)
The ASCR with std amarr assaults (brick tanking) already could beat those PRO minmatar assaults in open firefights. (some players were like that, bum rush me and I mow them down again and again) It shows that they don't value ISK and don't fear very much. (those that know when to retreat tend to ambush you later, they are way better) |

Dont forget the TAR and AR could very well be buffed too..... (Rattati, you break my heart with the kill count=/=weapon status calculation.)

On what do you base the above statement?
There are no buffs in Delta to the TAR or AR.

When haven't the Caldari assualt suits been **** ? (Maybe uprising bug when they were actually relevant with the instant shield regen?)
With the ASCR buff they might as well remove Caldari suits from the game.
Edit: I'm not complaining I've already made the transition over to amarr I just wish CCP would actually fix shield tanking |

Ridiculous amount of use in pubs
People will QQ on the forums
Many of the "original" users of the gun will QQ about how the playerbase turned their favorite gun into the FoTM
These same users will claim special snowflake status, because they "used it before the buff"
It will either get nerfed, or it will be WAI. (Working as Intended)

I've been using the ASCR for the past few months, so it will be good to see the gun I've stuck with come out on top of the meta.
That said, I think the 15% buff is excessive, as it will never overheat on an Amarr Assault. (but by the end of the clip you are shooting too wildly to hit anything) so it gets this 15% buff with no downside compared to other rifles (with no chance of overheat)
