I don't think I'm doing anything different, so why am I sucking? I don't think PC is influencing it that much. Just pubs, in general, I'm doing worse in. Have you ever gone through a stage where you got worse? What happened in the end; did you recover, or are you forever stuck at where you are now, where you don't improve anymore? Then somehow I won't be as sucky compared to a week ago. Its strange but it works, go take breaks! How many amarr does it take to change a light bulb? none. The minmatar do it for them

Fill your cores and passives. Get every mod and equipment. Then pick a new suit.

Your performance are influenced by so many things outside you, that you can have many ups and downs. One day you're angry and, well, maybe not so lucid and will make stupid mistakes, the other day your connection fails, another day Scotty decide to put you against a full squad of Third Rock and a full squad of Fatal Absolution (Any resemblance to real events and/or to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental) etc. You really shouldn't care. If you have a group of mates that knows you are a good player, all your bad performances are a secondary factor. It just happens. However, that's not to say I do not get those moments when I feel like throwing my controller into the television. If that happens, I change things up a bit or take a break. Aim to be consistently less than mediocre. Dust is only a game and "trying hard" will only lead to dissapointment and frustration.

This is called lack of giving a crap. I have seen this come and go. It will likely lead to taking a short break from Dust or only playing a couple of matches a day. Do not worry, once you have reached this low you will likely get bored enough with the game that you try some new role or suit or something just to try to maintain interest. This will lead to a rejuvenation of your stats and your time spent in Dust and a return of your stats as you once more apply focus.

Funny enough that's my exact same experience, but then objectives become secondary after you discover the ragdoll effects of the PLC and the skill required to place long-range shots. Today I actually managed to successfully snipe a couple people off a building today at a ridiculous 60 degree angle, felt really good, way better then using some direct fire weapon. Not sure what your KD/R was or is, but given the frequency you seem to pull those scores off, I don't see what you're talking about. I'd go ahead and blame the balancing though. As more and more roles get smoothed out, it can be tougher to rise above everyone else... either that, or you started playing a new role? I've noticed you in that Minmatar Assault a few times I believe, not sure if that's a new thing for you or not. You haven't been doing logi work though, have you? Cause that will definitely **** slap your KD/R in the face. I want to punch.

You need to create more fittings and modify old ones in order to still have fun. The meta is like a cycle. Old fashion eventually becomes new again for a while then it changes slightly again. Brick tanking became a good counter for my enemies for 2 weeks about 1 month ago. The meta has changed again for me though, Now ewar is more needed for me again, and heavy suits are also more needed in my matches atm. That's what I like about DUST 514. The meta is not always fixed. The battlefield is chaotic and dynamic. I just wish I could save 100 fittings instead of 30
