were getting killed before we cant even move from spawning in. we were 2 logistics and 2 heavy suits but as soon as we spawn and try to put uplink down away from enemy team they found us and killed us and destroyed our uplinks.
how are we supposed to 'get better' when we cant even earn skillpoints?
several games its not just my squad but other players as well who have low warpoints and i guess are also not receiving skillpoints because of it

You actually earn less SP for having obscene amounts of WP's than you do for having moderate amounts of WP, the system is on a curve though on average if you're actually playing the game you will always earn more SP than previously. Evie Glass Tal-Romon Legion Amarr Empire 0	Posted - 2015.02.05 15:51:00 - [16] - Quote uninstalled game now anyway. it was not fun before but at least when i did badly i got a small amount of skillpoints to make my character better. too many times i have games were enemy are using highest tier stuff and i cannot afford to buy it and so now i just get less chance of getting better. the skill point gap expands greater between myself and them. its a silly system. just because the charatcter is old im supposed to be super awesome and if im not i dont progress or progress very slowly. i took a break for several months because of unfair matchmaking. game isnt any better. perhaps i will try again in a few more months when i gain more passive skillpoints bye for now peoples

How many lifetime SP's do you have? I wonder what the cut-off for a "veteran" is? Personally, if you start a match, just run to something and hack it, usually that's 50 points. Then for the rest of the match try and get 2 kills... but my personal feeling is noone wants you to stop playing, even if you're bad. You should be rewarded and the implementation of the minimum WP was mainly to prevent AFK's but this is just an unforeseen side effect so they might change it. I'd say throw down a spawn point at the beginning and you'll get your 150 points by the end. Stick with it, there'll probably be changes. -A

I have made proposals to ccp, zero matchmaking, queue-syncing and high-risk vs low reward has broken the game mode. I've done what I can to stop some of the secret club mentality and provide a public channel where those who actually want to play are able to go instead of just queueing solo and getting slaughtered. You are asking me to somehow come up with a solution for all solo players everywhere. Zene Ren Hired Ghost 127	Posted - 2015.02.05 16:26:00 - [30] - Quote that is what will be happening always when proto vets do not have their own match mode enabled and ready for them 24/7 looking at you timers on PC and more restriction towards "end game" content for skilled vets etc. one could say HTFU new eden is a harsh place we can not promote afk SP farming breaking the fun for active players, on the other side of the coin though you need to simply get some help from community, join some PUB channels and LFS (look for squad ) there and get better read some stuff how to fit and promote yourself as a dedicated logi within the game, there are corps that will need someone like you and reach you. all in all just don't be discouraged you still have passive SP and isk from match, the game should not hold your hand on every defeat IMO Balance is the key to achieve knowledge and understanding
