Also, why is it so rare for a good number of you to have honorable knife duels? In the last 4 games I've played, I fought two. One was ohaigirl as mentioned earlier and the other was a CalScout who could have won. He landed one uncharged swipe on me and then some blueberry asswipe came up from behind and shot him dead... I salute you, dead CalScout knifer.

You can join the channel. Its not blocked in any way.
I blame the FotM influx during 1.8 for the lack of honorable knife duels. The NK buff also increased its usage. Those people just wanted to use a powerful weapon and didn't really have any dedication to the craft.

When I knife, I often pretend I don't have a knife when I'm around potentially aware enemy knifers so I don't have to duel.
Because I suck at DUST.
And I don't think they'll have e-honour.
But mostly because I suck.

My most memorable knifing kill in a duel was with some other min scout that had a logi reaping it and I had gotten the final blow.
The duel lasted about 8-15 second but We were going at each other and I jumped, aimed down, and killed him I didn't get a headshot but that was a bad as kill I ever got in a nova knife dual

What I hate is when a knifer will just kill you with a gun without even trying the knives, but once you are dead on the ground, they come up and keep slashing your bleeding clone.
Its an act of outstanding cowardice. When the fight was happening, they forwent their knifing that they are so proud of for the easy way out, but once im neutralized and no longer a threat, thats when you get the courage to make a knife attack? Lol! |

Let's wait till the weekend when most people are on. I'll contact DAAAA BEAST to see if he'd be interested in recording it. I'm thinking of doing it like a tournament; winner goes to next round, loser gets knocked out, until we have two finalists. If everyone would be willing to donate, we could have an ISK prize for the winner. I'd be willing to donate 10 mil. We could even make bets on the winners of each of the bouts!
