32 people could still own most of it and just not log on till the same 24 hours how is that different from now? Why is everyone afraid of losing an imaginary land when they sleep ? If you are human and want to sleep guess what you need to have freinds how is that a bad thing I'm sorry but somewhere you have a freind in law enforcement or the military that you don't know that still keeps the world intact when you go to be everyday. It's no different you build communities and ask the to engage for mutual reasons.

a district should be 4-5 battles. 3-4 minor battles with a single main battle for the win. the 3-4 minors should be fought at the same time and could determine factors for the main battle so winning more makes your final battle easier. after a timer it switches to the main battle. this way everyone gets in on pc but for the main win/loss battle you can chose your best guys.

That sounds like fun.

Because they don't just play PC and bigger corps are international
Because all districts would be up for attack at the same time without warning |

No, I don't want to see timers removed. I want window timers. There are some proposals out there on different methods of making that window smaller through upgrades, activity, etc.
-In my mind I'm picturing a 1-4 hour window. During that time you'd be vulnerable to attack. The difference in those proposals from what I'd like to see is the delay from attack to the battle occurring. Your window would be set to your active times (or perhaps able to set multiple smaller windows). So you'd have teams ready to go on the attack.
-People are in their PC chats setting up matches daily anyway. Why not force people to respond right away? Instead of some CEO making deals 24 hours in advance, you are telling which FC to go into whichever defense or attack. This creates a situation where you simply can't take on more land than you can handle.
***I think we'd have to have a platoon/team building function to make logistics easier.
I see the chance of never having to go into a pub match again. 100% of my time in Dust with people I want to play with. This opens up PC operations to the majority of a corporation's players instead of the minority. It gives you a reason to recruit and a reason to be in a corp.
I think it also opens up the opportunity for a lot of the Eve style debauchery as corporations will have to expand at times with rapid decisions on players to allow in matches. It allows for rapid promotion within corporations to officer positions with roles.
Persistant team play is what I seek. I don't want districts to change hands twice a day. I want there to still be an opportunity to grow rich and powerful as small elite corporations. I just want mechanics that open this thing up. People will get hooked on it as many of us have on the team play in Dust.
Can you imagine the stress relief on pub matches if the competitive players had a place to go for 100% of their Dust time?
Low payouts ensure that only the best are running decent gear.
