Heres a thought, as a general principle to adhere to.
Natural Shield Regen < STD Armor Repair < STD Shield Recharger < ADV Armor Repair < ADV Shield Recharger < PRO Armor Repair < PRO Shield Recharger
opposed to how it currently works which is
STD Armor Repair < ADV Armor Repair < PRO Armor Repair < Natural Shield Regen
which I find to be....rather messed up.

Khanid Logi and Tanker, sometimes AV Heavy or Sniper.
I believe all these roles are support for front line soldiers.

Oh god no. Please don't suggest armour ever have passive regeneration. Don't ruin HAV for me like you did infantry.

I could see the argument for dropsuits because dropsuits, typically, will hybrid tank to some extent. This is not true for vehicles, and thus the need is unwarrented.

Eh, it was just an idea (with a gunnlogi having a total of 6 hp/s passive armor regen under the system I would propose for it) but I'd be fine with it not being added in...either way would work

Hope there is a long delay before the passive repairs set it 10-15 seconds minimum, only way it's worth considering. If not its just a buff of 1-2 shots from Proto swarms needed before the veichle is killed under normal not challenging conditions. |

Armor repair should never have a delay like shields, that would make it pointless.
Lets look at this without skills or the +20% against armor, and these other hypothetical constraints: Proto swarms deal 312 damage per missile, have a 1.4s lock-on time, 4.5s reload, 3 clip size, and assume if it takes 5 whole seconds for the missiles to hit the Soma/Madrugar with 25 hp/s base repair.
It would have repaired 3+ù(1.4+5)+4.5 by time you have finished reloading which is only 23.7 armor HP. That can only save a tank from 1 missile, not 2.
To potentially save that tank from the 2nd missile from a swarm launcher volley, you will have to reload over 13 times.

Updated the shield recharge rates to be less extreme, how I want things to be have changed, and I have a more specific reason for those numbers.
