don't you wanna try them? Have FUN with them? Setting traps for people who thought just because there suit cost over 100k isk, that they were invincible, and send them raging back to the reality that sometimes brains beats bronze? I mean, you can say "They weren't intended to kill the way they do" but that's really just saying you want to limit creativity and to want to treat a VIDEO GAME as a statistic sheet. I've done way more horrifying things with the Min assaults and scouts with unorthodox fittings that many would consider "not using the suit the way it's intended". To you I say no. I will not play the way YOU want me too, I will not be a mindless drone playing like some chess piece that's only "intended" to be used a certain way just to get pawned by another chess piece. I'm sorry that you see the world around a cage of limits, especially a virtual one. I'm sorry that you thought stacking hp made you the victor. If you want to limit yourself that's fine, get blown up, but nerfs won't be the end of it, me and everyone else with an ounce of creativity will just keep on using suits and equipment "the way there not intended" until this whole game is nerfed six feet under. So in the mean time i'll make Heavies faster than your assualts, I'll stack damage mods on my side arms, I'll use the plasma cannon. By the way, I mostly hear "nerf the c4" from PC players, so why not just remove them from PC and stop using proto suits in pubs if you're not prepared to lose them. Because its ok to use my speed heavy to rush behind the enemy and mow them down single handedly, but god forbid I use c4. And another question, how many times do you even see it used in game? Try not to exagerate, like you do whenever you're trying to get something nerfed. I rarely see it used, and I rarely see it used well. Me personally, I use them a ton but the majority of my kills still come from CQC and yolo'ing around. I think that its just human mentality to get angry when your quickly out stepped and scream unfair, you know c4 is int the game, you know it's mostly used by speed heads, you know you always die when you follow them, So why,why do you keep following them. Here's a good TIP equip a scanner, that way you can see if theres c4 before you follow, hell use a flux to clear them out before you enter a a room, because really it's not like if I run into an enemy all I have to do is pull out c4 and win. No i'll probably die by the time the animation of pulling c4 out stops. Besides, Why do you people LOVE trench warfare, because that's like almost every ambush game. Two teams trying to muscle each other while rarely ever flanking. Hell, if I manage to set c4, and it rarely ever happens, and I manage to get c4 on top of everyone while everyone is shooting at me and passive scan gets me on everybody's' radar, then you deserve to be on the killfeed along with your whole camping team. That's my rant. Use em before you lose em, and for the Dev's; You can do nothing from this point on that involves nerfing and I guarantee you none of your loyal players will go anywhere. It's sad to see you guys fall for a minority of player's bluff. Yeah I'm certain that they are a minority. I'm pretty sure the real majority rarely check the forums. Kinda would explain why the most likes on a dev post barley rach 50+ when you supposedly have 300,000 players. lol. That being said, make a crazy class, just have fun. |

Also - it's a remote explosive. You place it where you think people will be then detonate it - that isn't changing, at all. Stop the tears, they make no sense what so ever.
you shouldn't be using RE's like nades to begin with - you have actual ******* nades for that.

And the only nerf most of us are asking for is RE's because of how insane they are in PC matches - they dominate outside there actual intended use as planted charges.
That's a problem plain and simple. Get over it scrub.

Exposition The Odyssey began ten years after the end of the ten-year Trojan War (the subject of the Iliad), and Odysseus has still not returned home from the war. Odysseus' son Telemachus is about 20 years old and is sharing his absent father's house on the island of Ithaca with his mother Penelope and a crowd of 108 boisterous young men, "the Suitors", whose aim is to persuade Penelope to marry one of them, all the while enjoying the hospitality of Odysseus' household and eating up his wealth. Odysseus' protectress, the goddess Athena, discusses his fate with Zeus, king of the gods, at a moment when Odysseus' enemy, the god of the sea Poseidon, is absent from Mount Olympus. Then, disguised as a Taphian chieftain named Mentes, she visits Telemachus to urge him to search for news of his father. He offers her hospitality; they observe the suitors dining rowdily while the bard Phemius performs a narrative poem for them. Penelope objects to Phemius' theme, the "Return from Troy",[6] because it reminds her of her missing husband, but Telemachus rebuts her objections. That night Athena, disguised as Telemachus, finds a ship and crew for the true Telemachus. The next morning, Telemachus calls an assembly of citizens of Ithaca to discuss what should be done with the suitors. Accompanied by Athena (now disguised as Mentor), he departs for the Greek mainland and the household of Nestor, most venerable of the Greek warriors at Troy, now at home in Pylos. From there, Telemachus rides overland, accompanied by Nestor's son, Peisistratus, to Sparta, where he finds Menelaus and Helen who are now reconciled. He is told that they returned to Sparta after a long voyage by way of Egypt. There, on the island of Pharos, Menelaus encountered the old sea-god Proteus, who told him that Odysseus was a captive of the nymph Calypso. Incidentally, Telemachus learns the fate of Menelaus' brother Agamemnon, king of Mycenae and leader of the Greeks at Troy: he was murdered on his return home by his wife Clytemnestra and her lover Aegisthus. Charles Gleyre, Odysseus and Nausica+ñ Escape to the Phaeacians The second part tells the story of Odysseus. After having spent seven years in captivity on Calypso's island, Ogygia, Calypso falls deeply in love with him but he has consistently spurned her advances. Finally, Odysseus asks Demodocus to return to the Trojan War theme and tell of the Trojan Horse, a stratagem in which Odysseus had played a leading role. WARxion ForDUST wrote:Exposition The Odyssey began ten years after the end of the ten-year Trojan War (the subject of the Iliad), and Odysseus has still not returned home from the war. She is persuaded to release him by Odysseus' great-grandfather, the messenger god Hermes, who has been sent by Zeus in response to Athena's plea. Odysseus builds a raft and is given clothing, food and drink by Calypso. When Poseidon finds out that Odysseus has escaped, he wrecks the raft but, helped by a veil given by the sea nymph Ino, Odysseus swims ashore on Scherie, the island of the Phaeacians. Okay, there's this awesome key above the shift key on the right hand side of the keyboard called the "enter" key.
When you use it, you split up your text into seperate lines!
See? Just like that! Cool huh? A line break is a universal signal to the reader's brain that it's okay to breathe now and process the section that was just read. It's also a very useful way to keep track of where you are in a wall of text!
It is EXTREMELY important that you use this key a couple of times if your post is more than five sentences long, otherwise it will be extremely annoying and difficult to read.
Lets see what happens to your post with liberal application of the Enter key:
Geo Esp wrote:don't you wanna try them?

CCP thinks that these guys who play the game all day and take breaks on the forums make up the majority, it's sad that they have given them this much attention to alter play styles of everybody else just so next week they can scream " NERF THIS NOW, IT "STILL" KILLED MY PROTOSUIT" Well, to be fair, we don't sound like we couldn't pass grade school when we type - so we're bound to be heard more then you. And the only nerf most of us are asking for is RE's because of how insane they are in PC matches - they dominate outside there actual intended use as planted charges. That's a problem plain and simple. Get over it scrub. Im 100% ok with RE nerfs, as long as heavy's get balanced as well.
People keep forgetting that RE's are only dominant because there are around 8-10 heavies out of 16 players on any PC team.
