While the training grounds do not compare to the actually player base the proto gap is a huge one when it comes to suits(+TTD) and some weapons(-TTK) anyone that tells you 15% damage from proff is not big is someone that is delusional about there own "skill". The balance is horrid in this game so if you are worried about k/d play sg scout, RL sniper, strife scout, or sentinel and really you will have a lot more fun with the game preying on those nonconformist lol.

You hated your quarters that bad? How much SP did you give up for new quarters? About 90M. I don't mind, I got the same name again anyway :) I still have a 14M sp alt I can play though. You are insane if that's true... why are you still playing this?! BE FREE!!! By the time you reach 90m again this game will be buried...
I don't mind honestly. I would not have done it if losing the SP would have bothered me. However, I just can't wait to get out of the non passive SP pit. |

I am SO sick and tired of getting killed by Proto this and proto that. Mainly Breaches and HMGs. I ALMOST ALWAYS get them down to about 50 armour in my starter fit. And I know if I had equal gear, I would be destroying these people. It's so dis satisfying when you get killed to someone that is more SP than you in an FPS.
I literally am losing my patience and I don't want to quit but it sucks because my KDA has dropped so much this last week since I got out of the academy where people are equal geared. I had about a 6.15 KDR which has not dropped to 1.6 and dropping still fast. Which is ruining my chances of ever getting into a PC corp.
I have no idea what to do and even getting to an advanced level suit and modules takes so long.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I am considering buying the APEX Nomad suit tomorrow which hopefully will help even just a little. But I just don't know what to do. So many new players quit because of this reason but there must be something I can do to compete on a fair level.
Save your money, eventually play enough Factional to get the BPO suits. Like others have said squad up. You'll stand better odds. I don't worry about my KDR but I either tank or Logi. |

I pretty much always choose up gear, I started with mk com AV when it was strong and then went SG scout and just ruined people, but easy kills are not much fun. I picked up an ion pistol when it was considered super UP and loved being the only guy on the kill feed with it and ever since have been chasing that dragon lol. The balance has changed and I still play mostly side arms scout, but of course most sidearms are not the I win button that the shotgun is so I have good and bad matches. I often think about hitting up easy mode, but the value of a challenge far exceeds empty praise of fellow gamers.
