(( For reference if I were to try to create the average Skadii using the Warhammer Stats they would look like this
Normal Human : WS3 BS3 S3 T3 I4 A1 W1 Ld8
Murfolk : WS4 BS3 S4 (6) T3 I4 (2) A1 W1 Ld9
Now before you get all defensive this is only a comparison between the Warhammer Humans who typically are a half way house between Horde Army and Quality Army and usually succeed based on interplay between units that leverage power, speciality, and raw numbers. Humans are nothing individually however together they are a nasty army to face.
3 is the basic and respectable statline and represents normal human attributes of a trained human soldier which varies based on specific unit. However these are considered to be the attributes of normal everyday rank and file soldiers. Values of 8 or higher are usually reserves for monstrous creatures of inhuman nature.
Weapon Skill represents the aptitude of a soldier with his/her melee weapon and usually means in combat that soldier has a better chance to inflict a hit on a target. Skilled races like Elves and or Quality armies like Chaos Marauders usually have a WS4 attribute to represent their enhanced skill.
Ballistic Skill represents ranged hand eye co-ordination and is used to determine whether a unit can hit with its ranged weapon. Sharpshooters and or groups with ranged affinity usually have a BS4 allocation to represent their preternatural ability with such weapons.
Strength literally represents the force by which a hit is made. 3 is the average of a longsword or normal hand weapon combined with human might. Orks or Chaos Warriors are stronger men than normal Empire Humans and are gifted with a S4 Statistic. Strength is further modified by the type of weapon used. Great weapons increase how powerful the blows are, usually by +2, but come with a cost.
Toughness is how hard your character can take a hit and their chances of not being killed by it. Dwarves are hardy ******* and are given T4.
Initiative is a statistic that represent how fast a unit reacts to something like an attack and determines the battle order of characters. This statistic is also modified by the weight of weapons meaning that even if a character naturally can react to something their wargear weighs them down. Humans normally have a I4 allocation while Elves and other supernatural creatures have 5 of even 6, undead have low initiatives and almost always strike last.
Attacks and Wounds represent the ferocity and durability of a soldier. On standard men the are limited to one per unit while on Heroes and Generals they receive 2 or more of each.
Leadership represents the morale of a unit and its staying power. 8 is a normal stat and makes Humans some what courageous though partially reliant of generals to share their leadership. Cowards have values between 4-6 while heroes have values set usually to 10.
Justification for Personal Allocations: Mur are a non-human race that are slightly taller and uniquely shaped. Since they have no weapons that require great skill to use their BS values are as normal humans however as a result of melee focus they again additional WS. Being taller and with powerful upper bodies and wide spade like hands the Skadii are naturally stronger than humans however this does not make them any more of less tough as their lower bodies are thinner and more frail.
However all Skadii use Great weapons with give their attacks greater weight and strength bordering on the monstrous (6 = 4 Base +2 Great Weapons). Initiative is normal like a humans but the weight of such heavy weapons make them slow to attack unless on a charge meaning they cannot react expect to move faster than light weight enemies.
Leadership through a a religion that expresses unity and temperament leads the Mur to be very level headed and less likely to flee or break ranks in combat where others might.
Result: Mur are physically superior to humans but cannot field large numbers of troops. The Mur are a Close Quarters Skirmishing Army. Their soldiers are not inhumanly tough like the Tal-man, nor I suppose as well equipped or fast like the Paric and rely on fast, overwhelming assaults to win their battles.))

((I can revise if it seems unfair but I did want to get across the idea that it was a bunch of armed soldiers against civilians and I'm cool with that but in this universe it is unlikely to see ships perish at sea? Either by existing pirates or by weather, or what have you?
And hell yeah I'm going to have my characters hit innocent people, they will be nothing if not practical and true to themselves. I plan to write these guys like pirates though. I won't be keeping their ships in the same place, or flying the same flags, etc.
I also was going to ask about the Creed and if they maintained a presence on ships and what their capabilities are so if I come to it and we encounter one how I should portray them. To my understand they are like a combination of knights an assassins. Capable soldiers and assassins but still fundamentally men.))

((It's for the sake of realism. I won't ever write a combat scenario in which one side achieve a perfect result as I feel it lacks realism and a certain grace of story telling. I dare say whomsoever attack whom regardless of circumstance is likely to have men die.
As for our combat perhaps one day we'll get into a direct battle until them I'll write these bro's like the pirates they are picking on the targets that ensure they have the offerings they need and running from Navy Fleets. I hope we all as story tellers have the courtesy not to silver bullet one anothers scenarios.
If there is a fight I'd rather get a bit of to and fro RP going and talk out who wins OCC.))

Again don't mean to be an ass but this battleship seems like a sliver bullet to issues at sea.... lets not push a I HAVE THIS ONE POWERFUL THING THAT DOES X..... because I'm seriously getting close considering introducing my own Km long Leviathan silver bullet to match all the others that exist.
From a more realistic stand point you could have entire fleets with competent sailors rather than one ultra powerful ship you would be adverse to losing in a battle.
Because eventually we will be fighting battles and characters and assets will be lost..... best to make things you can accept to lose rather than those you cannot.))

The Cathay-Raht are a people who live off the land and sea, they are hunters of all kinds of creatures. Intelligent and cunning, strong and resilient, quick and agile, they are primal in appearance and have a very distinct way of interacting with others.
They build nearly everything they use, ships, boats, gliders, weapons, clothes, the exception to this is the "weapons" of certain creatures (stingers, tails, fangs, etc.) They are quick to defend an ally and will gladly sacrifice themselves for their allies if the situation calls for it. They are a reserved people and thus often keep to themselves, however if given the opportunity to interact with another race, they will with open arms. They don't have a military, however they may be viewed as a sort of military by the fact every man, woman, and child will pick up a weapon and fight, they are strongly tied to the moon and worship a goddess of war and compassion. They will only build something of great power in anticipation of the "Great hunt"((and Im prepared for the Pahma-su to be sunk, hopefully at alater date, also ask any more questions that may pop up))

'Krion' though Godwin. The word sounded familiar, but he could not quite remember where from. An old legend perhaps? Nevertheless, undertaking such a task would delay him too long, he was eager to tell his liege of Kirath. "I'm afraid I must decline your highness. I must endeavour to return to my homeland, and those I believe Raul can assist me with that. Although I can assure you, I will be back."
